“I’d like that. Text me?”

He nodded and licked his lips. “I will.”

Dominic tugged me away from him, and I followed but turned to look over my shoulder at Fallon, who was smiling sadly at me.

We were going to be OK.

Eventually.

Now, I just needed to deal with Drake.

And Dominic.

And whatever these feelings I had were.

Life just kept getting more complicated, but at least we were together now.

And there wasn’t going to be a force on this planet that would change that.

CHAPTER 6

Fallon

I ate breakfast quickly,my guts churning.

Bianca wanted me back.

Dom was agreeable as long as he got to punish me with the kings. The thought terrified me, but I’d do it. There wasn’t a damn thing in this world I wouldn’t do to get back to my family. If it meant getting my ass handed to me in a three-on-one match, so be it.

Dom led Bianca back upstairs after we’d spoken, so I made them both a plate while Cole winked at me and went to their room, where I tapped lightly on the door.

Dom pulled the door open. I was sure he was going to say something nasty to me, but he simply stepped aside and let me come in. He’d changed a lot. Aside from having lost some weight, he seemed to not be as commanding as he once was.

Bianca was sitting on the bed, a bruise on her cheek. I’d seen it earlier but hadn’t gotten to kiss it better because of how shit was going down. I handed Dom a plate, sat next to Bianca, and gave her the pancakes I’d grabbed for her. Complete with powdered sugar and an apple juice.

“Thanks,” she said, taking the plate from me. I watched as she dug into her food. Dom sat on her other side and ate in silence.

I said nothing. When she finished, I took her plate. Dom placed his over hers and moved to sit back beside her on the bed.

I wasn’t quite sure what to say now.

“It’s quiet,” Bianca murmured.

“You think Levin and Stefan are OK?” I asked.

“I hope so.” She looked at me. “Levin was really upset with me that I didn’t tell him Stefan was alive.”

I winced and glanced at Dom who was studying me, with a frown on his face.

“We all make mistakes, princess. You were trying to do the right thing by Stefan.”

She shrugged. “Yeah, I guess. I knew how Levin would react too. He’d have tried to find him, and I didn’t want him to get hurt. I guess I was selfish.”

I reached out and squeezed her hand. She gave me a sheepish look before her breath caught, and she tensed.

“What’s wrong?” Dom and I said in unison. He shot me a scowl.

“Sorry. Nothing. It’s just the babies. I’m still getting used to feeling them.”
