“I’m sorry. I’m so sorry,” he wept softly. “I just wanted you to be safe. I fucked everything up.”

We stayed that way for a moment before I urged him to get up. He did so, his poor face battered and bruised, his cheeks stained with his tears.

“I love you,” he said thickly. “And the babies. So much.”

“I love you too,” I whispered.

A shaky smile graced his lips. “Really?”

“You know I do.” I leaned in and brushed my lips against his gently. “I’m just really mad.”

“Let me make it up to you?” he pleaded softly.

“OK,” I agreed.

He blinked in surprise at me before he leaned down and rested his forehead against mine. Dominic wound his arms around my waist, the three of us connected.

“Thank you.” Fallon breathed out.

“And you’ll be punished,” Dominic added.

“OK,” Fallon said. “Whatever you want from me.”

“Just your fucking blood.”

Chills rushed over me at Dominic’s words, but I knew him. He’d bring the pain. It terrified me, but if Fallon were willing to take what Dominic and the kings dished out, then maybe he’d do what had to be done to be one of us. Not that he hadn’t before, but this time, a lot more was on the line.

I needed to know he was serious and wasn’t planning on messing up anymore.

“No more plotting and planning without all of us knowing what’s going on,” I said.

“Promise.”

“And you’ll always be honest.”

“Always.”

I pulled away and stared up at him.

“Then let’s start over, OK?”

He nodded. “OK.”

I smiled at him. “My name is Bianca, and this is my boyfriend, Dominic.”

“Hi, Bianca. I’m Fallon,” he said, his voice cracking and so many emotions washing over his face that it made my breath catch in my chest.

“And I promise I’m going to love you until the end of the world and then love you into eternity,” he finished softly. “And your boyfriend too.”

Dominic scoffed.

“How about all three of my boyfriends?”

“Three?” Fallon smiled down at me, the tears still in his eyes. “I can handle that.”

“Good.”

“Would you like to go to dinner with me?” he asked, his voice wavering.
