“You could be Tony in one of his suits? Or a prince? They always carry princesses?” I managed to sit up but that was hard, so I held up my hands.
Daddy had to do the rest.
Yep, he was strong.
I knew it.
“See? You’re strong like Hulk.” He was just under…under something. “I lost a word, Daddy.”
He frowned and kissed my forehead as he helped me up. “What kind of word?”
“You were under something.” No, wait. That wasn’t right. “Under yourself? Not being nice to what you could do. Yes.”
His head cocked. “Underestimating myself?”
“Yes.” He really was smart. “You’re such a good Daddy. You give good orgasms and attention and you find the words.”
They just wandered off sometimes.
“I’m glad I can help.” He was so glad he gave me a cheek kiss. “I’m going to be a good Daddy now by helping you get more comfortable.”
“I’m sticky.” Looking down, I wiggled my feet in my special rug. “Leander said it was stupid because it was so expensive but it’s pretty and it’s squishy.”
“Don’t tell me how much the squish rug costs, please.” Daddy sighed when I giggled. “I have a feeling if Leander thought it was crazy, it’ll give me a heart attack.”
Yep.
“Yes, Daddy.” But I was going to buy another one so we could have playtime in the living room too. Maybe the bedroom. Oh, we needed to be able to play in the kitchen. “I don’t want you dead.”
I had lots of plans for him.
Daddy raised one eyebrow. “You’re thinking about a to-do list, not how wonderful I am.”
No giggles.
No giggles.
No giggles.
“Being a good to-do lister makes you very special.” Ha. No giggles. “Did I tell you I’m sticky?”
Yes, he needed a distraction.
It worked.
He sighed but he fixed his pants and took my hand. “Fine. You win.”
I liked winning.
“And you are sticky, so it’s the truth too.” His mouth frowned but his eyes giggled. “So you can’t get in trouble.”
Yay.
“Smart Daddy.” Kissing his cheek, I squeezed his hand. “You can get all clean too.”
“Thank you.” Daddy led me to my grown-up room and looked around. “I think we’re going to do grown-up jammies if that’s okay?”
I shrugged and nodded and smiled. “Yes. Here.”
