"What do you want from me ??", she asked him not wanting to anger him further...

"I want you to behave like before, I don't like the distance you try to put on in our conversations, all we talk about is Isha, you won't let me talk anything other than that", Ranveer said now calming down

"Why should we talk about anything else when Isha is the only connection between us, for me, you are my best friend's brother, and for you, I'm your sister's best friend", Ragini said and Ranveer sighed

"You are more than just my sister's best friend Ragini Shah, do you hear me ?? And I want you to become the most important person in my life next to my sister...", he said and her eyes widened hearing him...

"Don't play with me... I'm not the kind of woman who would fall for your charms Mr. Rajput... search someone to fulfil your wishes", Ragini said with anger, how dare he try to play with her feelings ?? He maybe a Prince but he has no right to joke with her about these kinds of things... she didn't believe his words, she didn't think he would want anything permanent with her considering all the differences they hold, she knew he feels those sparks between them just like her, maybe more than her and now he wants to just acknowledge those. "I would have appreciated if you have been vocal about your desires but this approach...", she started but Ranveer started laughing looking at her, understanding what she might have thought...

"Woman... you are absolutely crazy... like crazily crazy... you think I want to be with you because I am physically attracted to you ??", He asked looking at her in amusement... Ragini for some reason felt embarrassed when she heard those words from his mouth though that's exactly what she thought... she looked sideways to hide her embarrassment... he decided to tease her... "yeah, that's partially true, you are absolutely gorgeous and I'm physically attracted to you, but I just don't want you only in that way... for that, there are many means to satisfy myself, no ??", he teased, her eyes widened, he could see anger as well in thoseeyes, and his heart fluttered, is that anger and jealousy in Ragini Shah's eyes ?? Ranveer enjoyed the feeling...

'Did he just say he would satisfy himself with other women if it's only about a physical thing ??', Ragini questioned herself, oh boy! his words had affected her more than she allowed them to...

"Move away", she said trying to contain her anger...

"No... I just said a hypothetical case, you know ??", Ranveer said smirking...

"And do you think even if that hypothetical case becomes a reality ??", she said glaring at him

"You don't ??", he asked in return

"No, I don't care", she said strongly...

"Sure... tum kehti ho to maan leta hu(If you say so)", he said and she looked at him with wide eyes... he had always addressed her as 'aap'(you - respectful), his 'tum'(you- casual) stirred some unwanted emotions in her... he always spoke like a royal, his casual sentence did surprise her a lot...

"Please move away...", Ragini said, this time slightly vulnerable, at the change of emotions in her heart for the man in front of her... he noticed it and moved away...

"Ragini... I'm not playing with you or your emotions, I don't know why do you think of me like that in the first place, but trust me, I genuinely want to know you, want to date you and see where it goes, I'm absolutely serious about us... think about it, please", he said like the gentleman he is...

"I can't... I'm sorry", she said turning to go away but he held her wrist...

"Why ??", he asked, she is about to say something but he interrupted her... "don't tell me, you don't like me, I'm not gonna buy that bullsh*t", he said and she sighed

"I'm not denying the attraction between us, but this is it, I don't want to take it any forward", Ragini said

"Why ??", he asked again, trying to keep patience

"Because you are not just my best friend's brother, but a royal, you are Ranveer Rajput, and I'm not right for you, neither you are for me", she said... he stood shocked, he didn't expect a girl like Ragini, who is such a broad-minded woman to think of that sort...

He is about to give her a piece of mind when he saw someone coming out of the elevator from the other side, the basement is huge and it has at least 10 elevators in it, though the sound is far from them, both of them didn't want to take any risk, so they got into the lift, Ragini tried to press 1, but Ranveer stopped her and pushed B4 instead, Ragin's eyes widened...

Before she could speak, they reached B4, and they got out...

"I have work... let me go, your presence is annoying me", Ragini told him, such a liar...

"I'm not done talking...", he said...

"Bhai...", Isha said walking towards them, followed by Avyan, Ranveer and Ragini panicked seeing Isha, what if she found out,Ragini is worried, but Ranveer knew his sister is innocent, he could manage her but what about Avyan ?? "What are you both doing here ??", she asked

"I wanted to talk to her about you, you need complete rest, I was just asking Ms. Shah not to load you with work", Ranveer said, Ragini looked at him with narrowed eyes at how easily he lied...

"Bhai... I'm fine, don't worry so much, and Ragini doesn't load me with work ever... she is the best boss", Isha said smiling towards Ragini who is ashamed to lie to her best friend...

"Okay, but what are you both doing here ??", Ranveer asked

"Bhai, did you forget ?, I brought Patashi for Avyan, we are having it, in his car", Isha said and Avyan nodded, looking suspiciously at Ranveer and Ragini, but didn't voice it out because of his sister-in-law...

"Oh! Ishu...", Ranveer started but they heard another elevator ding from the other side, only Abhyansh and his men can come to this basement other than Avyan, Ranveer got nervous... just then he heard his brother-in-law's voice from far, he is reminded off the BEAST's warning just less than an hour ago...
