Isha and Ranveer got on the elevator in the basement, Isha shut her eyes tightly, her brother held her hand trying to soothe her but unfortunately, it didn't help her much, only her husband's presence calmed her down till date and she didn't understand the strange thing why it did.

When the elevator dinged on the ground floor, Ranveer left his sister's hand as he saw some other people getting into the elevator... Isha quickly moved out to take the stairs since it's just one floor she had to climb now.

Ragini and Reetu hugged her as soon as she entered into their office space... after asking how is she feeling, they started work, Isha discussed about her pending projects and the recent developments about the work before starting with her tasks...

Ranveer decided to meet his brother-in-law first before going back to the first floor... but, he didn't understand for what reason he would visit her, he had no business in his sister's wing. Abhyansh was informed of Isha's arrival in the office by Bhairav, he wanted to meet his wife, see her but he contained his urge, he was informed by John that Ranveer wanted to meet him to discuss a few things, Abhyansh asked him to adjust his schedule for the day and fit the meeting in it. John obliged allowing Ranveer in, the brothers-in-law discussed a couple of thingsregarding their joint ventures and finalized a few things while the other things needed further rounds of discussions to come to a conclusion.

"Okay, I'll discuss these with Vikram and get back to you", Ranveer said and Abhyansh gave a curt nod

"How is My wife ?? Is she fine ??", Abhyansh asked after they finished their official meetings...

"MY SISTER is fine Ranawat... learn to address her as my sister, it would help you in the future", Ranveer said and Abhyansh's eyes reddened in fury...

"Oh! I would love to address her as the sister of Late. Mr. Ranveer Rajput, want me to do that ??", Abhyansh's sentence seemed playful but his tone conveyed the seriousness it held and Ranveer didn't want to poke the lion, especially an injured one.

"Ranawat... I need a favour", Ranveer said it finally... Abhyansh frowned at his brother-in-law's hesitation and then it clicked, his brother-in-law was just taunting him about Isha, what made him suddenly turn this polite and hesitant?? It took less than a second for the BEAST to understand what he wants from him...

"NO", Abhyansh denied instantly...

"Ranawat... come on...", Ranveer said

"I told you to stay away from her Rajput... how many times should I repeat ??", Abhyansh said, irritation visible in him... he is a man of zero patience, only after marrying his wife, he started developing a little which his brother-in-law made his mission to test every time.

"I'm not doing anything with her, it's just that I want to talk to her, please call her here...", Ranveer said and Abhyansh glared at him...

"What am I ?? A relationship advisor ", Abhyansh asked annoyed, he wanted to use 'Broker' word, but his royal blood and ego didn't allow him to use that word to refer to himself even as a mocking...

"Come on Ranawat, you can do this much", Ranveer tried for one last time...

"Get Out Rajput, don't waste my time", Abhyansh said in finality...

"Don't forget your wife is staying with me in Rajput palace, you might be needing my help, but guess what ?? Now, I won't", Ranveer said getting up...

"You won't anyways... and I don't need YOUR permission or help to meet MY WIFE Rajput", Abhyansh said smirking... his brother-in-law is flying too high since the time Isha decided to leave with him, he needs to be brought down...

Ranveer glared at him... "I'll take your leave", Ranveer said and walked away after getting a nod from his brother-in-law along with a warning to stay away from Ragini, how much angry he may be, he couldn't leave without excusing himself politely from the king, that's one reason he is shocked with what his sister did the previous day, but again, it's his sister, and she is allowed to do everything to Abhyansh, which is considered as a sin if done by others...

Ranveer messaged Ragini to come to the basement to talk to her. After contemplating for a while, Ragini decided to go and check what he wanted to say. Last few weeks, they talked about Isha only, she noticed him trying to make a conversation with her but she shut it all off, as she didn't want to give any kind of wrong hopes to herself, she is not someone who goes casual on relationships and Ranveer never seemed to be like someone who could be serious in a relationship. Also, their status difference is a huge hindrance more than anything, he is a crown Prince for God sake.

She reached the basement as he asked her to...

"Come... we'll talk in my car", He said...

"I can't sit in your car, this is not a private parking space Mr. Rajput, many officials park their cars here, I don't want to be spotted by any of them", Ragini said, they are in Basement, B3, which is allotted for all the Grade 1 employees like CEOs, CFOs of different wings.

"Fine then, let's go to B4", he said and her eyes widened... it's a private parking space for the king only, she heard even his brother, Yuvraj Avyan Singh Ranawat is not allowed to park his car there... well, that's a piece of old news, the queen got a parking space for his brother-in-law there...

"No need, we can talk here...", Ragini said, it's better to be spotted by any of the Grade 1 employees than spotted by the king himself, also it's about 12 in the afternoon, no one comes to the basement at this time, even if they have to go out for lunch, they would do by 1, so she decided to talk there itself.

"I won't beat around the bush, and I don't want you to either, why are you being like this ??", Ranveer asked seriously...

"Like what ??", Ragini asked acting clueless, though she knew what he was talking about, she didn't want to imagine anything and make a fool out of herself... she needs to keep her heart in check which flutters just at a message of this man...

"Ragini...", he let out a frustrated sigh... "you know what I'm talking about, fine, if you want me to word it, I would, why are you being so distant with me, the Ragini I saw before your first day in R Empire and after that is completely different", Ranveer asked and she sighed

"There it is, you have your answer, something might have happened that day to change my behaviour, that is if it actually changed", She said folding her hands...

"Don't...", Ranveer slapped the wall behind her locking her in between his arms by placing both his arms on either side of her on the wall... "don't talk in riddles... I don't like it", he said, frustration clear in his tone, his eyes held a strange kind of emotion she had never seen before, as his eyes always showed only kindness, compassion, love and worry for his sister, but the man in front of her is like someone different, someone she has never met before.
