“Seth, leave it,” said Kodan in warning, rubbing the back of my palm with his thumb reassuringly. “We can’t get fucking worked up about this. Luke, we’ll not question you if we see you knotted inside our princess. And you will not question me while I’m knotted inside her.”

“Guys, stop,” I sighed. They were being so ridiculous.

“Alright then. It's just weird because one second we were discussing breakfast, and then you're completely knotted once I left,” said Luke, his eyes turning to the paper bag. “Moving on, I brought some breakfast.”

“Ooh, you brought my favorite,” I squealed upon seeing the chocolate muffins.

“I’ll feed you, honey,” said Luke. “You had a busy morning.”

Later that day,we sat on the rocks at the beach.

I sat between Seth and Luke, watching the waves crashing against the rocks. The bottom of my dress got wet, but I didn’t care. It was so calming and relaxing. We were going to go to the mainland for some grocery shopping later. But I begged them to take me here before the long ride.

“How did you stay in that creepy cave for so long?” I asked Seth, my eyes constantly darting in that direction.

“I didn’t notice it in my wolf form,” he replied, rubbing my forearm.
