“Woo!”yelled Silus when I broke the good news.

Shawn gave me a big hug, twirling me around the living room, and Darius kissed me hard on the lips.

“Good job,” said Darius, making my heart race with his fiery gaze.

“Tonight, we should celebrate,” said Shawn.

And we did.

Jade had come over to babysit for us, and we were all crammed in Shawn’s van as we drove toThe Savory Rose. A popular alpha-omega restaurant. I dressed a little fancier in a long, glittering red dress with red jewelry.

“You look absolutely stunning,” said Jatix as we walked towards the restaurant while he held my hand. Silus’s hand rested on my butt as we walked. I felt the familiar giddiness that I did when I was with my pack. But this time, it was full-on excitement at having my job back.

I was going to work hard and prove myself.

“The restaurant is pretty,” I said, squeezing his hand.

I gazed at the stunning upholstery of the chairs and the unique way the tables were set up. There was a special chair that looked like a throne for the omega of the group. I had never been to this restaurant before. We followed the server as he graciously led us to a table.

“That’s your omega throne,” said Silus, pulling out the largest, prettiest chair for me with both hands.

I smiled and sat down.

Silus sat to the right of me and Jatix to my left. Darius and Shawn sat around the table. I looked at the menu and saw a bunch of fancy pasta and steaks. Growing up, I could neverafford this and was still getting used to Jatix’s lavish lifestyle. The boat trips and beautiful locations he and his pack took me to were splendid.

As we ate, Silus made a toast.

“To Keera getting her job back!” We clinked our glasses, and I couldn’t help but wear a huge smile throughout dinner.

“I’m so excited to start and make money,” I said.

“But I provide you everything,” said Jatix with a glint in his eye.

“I don’t think so. Remember that necklace I wanted?” I joked.

“No, I’m kidding. We’re all very happy for you, sweetheart.”

Silus rubbed my thigh under the table.

“We’d like to show you how happy we are for you tonight,” said Silus, his voice lowered. His grey eyes had darkened with desire, and my thigh burned from his touch.

“Ooh, I’d like to know,” I said, sensing the men becoming agitated with arousal as they ate their steaks. I noticed Shawn’s gaze slip to my cleavage multiple times. The alphas’ scents became thicker with lust, and Jatix was rubbing my other thigh. When I snuck a peek under the table, I noticed his hard-on was apparent.

Later that night,we tiptoed into our home, and Jade met us outside Lio’s bedroom door. Her hair was in a messy ponytail, and her black shirt was covered in baby food.

“I put him down to sleep,” she whispered as I walked her to the front door.

“Thank you so much for watching him,” I said, opening the door for her. “I owe you one.”

“Don’t worry, I’ll keep that in mind,” Jade laughed. “I’ll have to find a pack first.”

“And you will,” I reassured her. I had no doubt she would make the perfect addition to any pack. She was the kindest and most caring friend I had. “I can’t wait to work with you on Tuesday.”

“I can’t believe you’re coming back,” said Jade, hugging me.

“It’ll be a nice change of pace for me.”

“Well, I’ve got to get going. Have a good night!”
