Hedda had never had a guy do things like that for her. And now two guys were doing it. She was having a hard time comprehending everything that was happening.
"Ready to start watching?" Leo asked as he sat down to her right.
"Yes," she whispered.
Oliver picked up the remote and sat down to her left. She could feel their heat radiating off of their body. She hadn't realized she was cold until they sat next to her.
"Let's get this blanket over your lap," Oliver said.
Before she could do anything, Oliver pulled the blanket from her hand and placed it over her lap. She watched in fascination as he tucked it under her legs, making sure there were no open spots to let cold air in.
"There," Oliver said. Comfortable?"
She nodded her head and focused on the screen. She had no doubt he could see how her cheeks heated up.
"If you get too cold, let me know," he said.
"Here is a bowl of Oreos and a glass of milk," Leo said.
He placed the Oreos on her lap and she grabbed onto the glass of milk. There was a spoon in the cup already.
"Thank you," she whispered.
"If you want any more Oreos, let me know and I'll grab them for you."
Hedda dunked one of her Oreos in the milk before letting it float. She loved waiting a couple of seconds for it to get fully coated, but still had a crunch. It was the best way to do it in her opinion.
Oliver pressed play and the Scooby-Doo theme song filled the room. She absolutely loved Scooby-Doo and couldn't get enough of it. Hedda had probably watched each episode at least four times.
She wiggled in her seat as the episode started to play.
"If you keep wiggling, you're going to spill your milk," Leo said, amusement laced in his voice.
Hedda stopped and ducked her head. Even though she was holding onto the glass, she had completely forgotten she was holding the glass of milk.
"Such a good girl," Oliver murmured in her ear. "No need to hide your expressions."
She looked up at the screen, ignoring what Oliver had just said. Hedda was so engrossed in eating her Oreos and watching Scooby-Doo that she didn't see Oliver place his hand over her shoulder until he rested it there. Her whole body went stiff and she tried to get out of it, but his arm stayed in place.
Leo's hand covered hers where she held the cup. His warmth started to heat up her cold hands and she felt herself relaxing a little. She couldn't help but want to relax in theirwarm embrace. They were like furnaces and she was an ice cube, waiting for them to melt her.
"Sit still or you'll spill the milk," he reminded her again.
Her body started to relax into Oliver's embrace, and she didn't want that. She moved her body, but Oliver kept her in place.
"Let go," she whispered, keeping her eye on the TV.
"Shhhh, it's okay." Oliver said. "You can be mad at me all you want, but you're relaxed. Just let this happen. You need it and deep down you probably want it."
She turned her head and glared at him.
"Be mad at me later, but enjoy this moment," Oliver spoke again. "Cherish this moment."
Sighing, she grumbled under her breath but felt herself starting to relax ever so slightly with each second.
"Such a good girl," he said as he kissed the side of her head. "Ourgood girl."
A blush coated her face and she looked back at the TV. Hearing them call her theirs made her feel all gooey inside. And she liked the feeling.
