She wanted to yell at him and say that, but she didn't have the energy for it. It was like her brother zapped all the energy out of her and she had none left to do anything.

"If you don't want to stay here, that's okay. We'll take you back to your brother if you want. We won't force you to stay here anymore."

She didn't want to leave them, but if they didn't want her anymore, then maybe she should. Hedda definitely wasn't going to her brother if they didn't want her anymore. She didn't know if she could deal with him.

Would he treat her like he just treated her? If he was, she didn't want to be near him at all. After spending a lot of time with Oliver and Leo, they had shown her what she wanted to be treated like. And her brother definitely didn't do that. She couldn't really remember if he ever had treated her like she really mattered to him.

"But if you do go back, just know we will fight for you. We won't let you go so easily. We want you and we will fight for you," Leo said. "If you go back to New York, we'll follow and show you, and your brother, that we mean business. We want you and we'll prove it."

Hedda didn't know what to say. Part of her was shocked he just said that to her. They had told her many times that they wanted her, but she didn't know that they would go through so much to keep her. Would they really follow her back to New York to show her they wanted her in their life?

"But if you don't want to go back to New York, then we won't take you," Oliver said. "We'll keep you safe here, cherish you, and spoil you. You won't want for anything."

Her heart warmed at that. It was finally starting to sink in that they really wanted her.

"Now," Leo said. "Do you want to go color or do you want to come watch some TV with us? We have Oreos and milk you can have as a treat."

Her mouth watered at the mention of Oreos. She absolutely loved Oreos and they knew that.

Hedda shrugged her shoulders. She didn't feel like doing either one of them.

"Let's go watch some TV," Leo said. "You can have as many Oreos as you want. No limit tonight."

Her head slightly turned at the mention of having as many as she wanted. When they were talking before the incident, they had told her she shouldn't eat as much as she wanted. That she would get sick. Oliver mentioned he would put a cap on how many she could eat in a day.

But they were letting her have as many as she wanted. Was it because of what happened with her brother?

"As much as I don't like that, you can have as many as you want," Oliver said. "You deserve it. You've been a good girl."

Her cheeks warmed up at the mention of being a good girl. It wasn't the first time they had told her that. She kept her head turned away from them because she didn't want them to know how much it affected her. But she guessed they already knew.

"Let's go before Oliver changes his mind," Leo said.

Hedda turned around and saw Leo was right in front ofher, holding out a hand. She stared at it for a couple of seconds before placing her hand in it. She felt weird about holding their hands right now. So much for not getting too close to them.

It seemed like Oliver and Leo knew what she was trying to do because they insisted, they hold hands when they were walking around the house. It was like they knew what was going through her head.

"I bought double stuffed Oreos. Two whole containers," Leo said.

Her heart skipped a beat. Leo had remembered that she loved the double stuffed Oreos the best.

"I'll put Scooby-Doo on and you go get the Oreos and milk," Oliver said. "And you are going to sit down on the couch and get comfortable."

She stared at Oliver in shock. They had remembered her favorite thing to do when she was feeling any type of way. Watch Scooby-Doo and stuff her face with Oreos and milk.

Oliver pointed to the middle seat of the couch where a blanket was situated. She slowly walked over towards the couch, not knowing what to feel in this whole situation. She didn't think they would remember such small details, but they had.

"Don't get too comfortable yet. Leo and I are sitting on either side of you so you may move a little," Oliver said.

She pulled the blanket off the couch before sitting down. If Oliver hadn't told her where to sit, she wouldn't have sat down on one of the sides. No doubt they would've moved her if she did do that.

"Do you want anything else to have as a snack or just theOreos and milk?" Leo asked as he brought a glass of milk and container of Oreos into the living room.

She shrugged her shoulders. Hedda didn't feel like making decisions right now.

"If you want anything else, you let me know," Leo said. "We may not have it, but we did stock up on your favorite snacks."

Hedda didn't look at him. She couldn't, not when they kept telling her sweet things. She couldn't help but make facial expressions with everything they have been telling her.
