Hedda stuck her tongue out at him.

"No fair," she said. "I think it's totally reasonable for you to give them a little nudge, a threatening hint if they punish me."

"Not going to happen," Rogan said. "It's not going to happen at all. If anything, I'll tell them to keep going."

She rolled her eyes. No one was on her side.

"Everything okay now?" Hedda asked.

"Everything is okay."

Before Hedda could say anything, the door opened behind Rogan and a girl ran in.

Who was that?

"Daddy!" She yelled in a Scottish accent.

Hedda's eyes went wide. Daddy?

She opened her mouth, ready to ask Rogan who that was. But before she could, the video chat ended.

"What the fuck?" Hedda whispered in shock.

Who the heck was that? Why did the girl call him Daddy? Was this the thing that Rogan was worried about?

Did he have a girl and hadn't told her about it? How long has this been going on for?

Hedda continued to stare at the computer screen. She wanted to call him back and ask what was going on. Why was she there? Who was she?

"Sweets?" Papa asked as he knocked on the door.

But her mind was preoccupied. Was Rogan okay?

"Princess?" Daddy called out. "Is everything okay?"

A hand landed on her shoulder and she jumped.

"Shit," she whispered. "I'm sorry. I was thinking."

"No need to be sorry," Papa asked. "Are you okay?"

She shrugged her shoulders. Part of her was okay because Rogan had given her his blessing. He had told her everything was okay between them but at the same time she wasn't okay. Who was that girl? Why was she calling him Daddy?

"Sweets," Papa said.

"I don't know," she replied. "I really don't know."

"Talk to us," Daddy said. "Let us help you."

She turned around and looked at both of them. Would they understand? There wasn't much to really understand. It was so out of the blue.

"Rogan and I were talking and all of the sudden a girl came running in and she called him Daddy," Hedda whispered. "He ended the chat before I could say anything. I just don't understand. Did he have her while we were there? Is that why he went to the other house?"

Her mind was whirling with all of these questions. Nothing was making sense.

Sure, Rogan didn't tell her everything because some of it was related to the business. But other things he would tell her.

They didn't normally have secrets.
