“Good girl,” he said, praising her.
She blushed but continued to look in his eyes. Such a good girl following orders and not looking away, even though she probably wanted to.
“Now, can you tell me what’s wrong?” he asked. He posed it as a question, but the tone of his voice had an edge to it that made it seem more like a command.
“I d-don’t want to scare you off,” she mumbled.
“You won’t scare me off. Now you can tell me.”
She took a deep breath in. “I just want to let go.” She looked down at her hands.
“So let go,” Finn encouraged her. “I’ll watch over you.”
Charlotte shook her head.
“Why not?” he asked, trying to figure out why she wouldn’t want to let go. When it was apparent that she wasn’t going to answer, Finn spoke again. “You can tell me anything.” He ran his hand up and down her back.
She looked at him, tears in her eyes. “I don’t want to mess up,” she sobbed out.
“Oh, honey,” Finn said, moving his hand off of her back. “Come here.” His arms opened wide for her.
Charlotte moved quickly into his arms, her legs on either side of his body. He slowly started to rock them back and forth, trying to calm her down.
“Everything’s going to be okay. You won’t mess up,” he whispered in her ear as he ran a hand up and down her back.
Finn pulled back to get a better look at Charlotte’s face.
“Why do you think you’re going to mess up?” he asked, wiping away the tears on her face.
“I d-don’t know,” she stuttered out.
“I think you do,” he said with a smile on his face. He gave her nose a little tap. “You can tell me.”
“I’ve never had a Daddy before, and I don’t want to mess up the chance of getting one,” she mumbled and looked down at her hands.
His heart broke but warmed at the same time. It broke because she was so scared of doing something wrong and messing it all up, but his heart warmed because she thought of him as maybe her potential Daddy.
“Charlie, can you look at me?” Finn asked softly.
Charlotte looked up at Finn, and his hand cupped her cheek.
“You won’t disappoint me because you haven’t had a Daddy yet. If anything, that makes you special in your own way,” he said and kissed her forehead.
Finn saw her close her eyes as tears started to well up in them.
“How about you let go and be little, if you’re comfortable, and I’ll watch over you. We can go over rules and your safe word first,” he suggested.
She nodded her head.
“Great! Now, what’s your safe word?” he asked. Finn was running his hands through her hair now, and from the look on her face, he knew she loved it.
“Red,” she said. “It’s easy to remember because I tend to forget things.”
“Good girl,” Finn mumbled and gave her a smile. “What are your hard limits?”
“No humiliation. No cane. No drawing blood or degrading me,” Charlotte confidently replied.
“Good. I don’t like those either,” he said. “What about punishments? Are spankings, corner time, paddle, lines, edging okay?”
