She tried to cancel the order and return them, but they wouldn’t allow her to cancel, and the return label would have cost more for each package than the stuff was worth. That’s when she realized she couldn’t be in little space unsupervised. The problem was Charlotte didn’t have anyone to supervise her.
Diana was a Mommy, but she wasn’t Charlotte’s Mommy. Besides, if Diana were to see Charlotte’s home right then, Charlotte might die of embarrassment. It was a complete mess. Her little wasnotvery organized.
She didn’t have a Daddy to take care of her, keep her on track, discipline her when she did something naughty, and cherish her when she succeeded at something out of her comfort zone.
That was part of the reason why Charlotte didn’t want to go to the club. It showed what she didn’t have right now and what she couldn’t have. Since she had been suppressing her little, each time she slipped, it was harder and harder to get pulled out of it.
“We’re staying there for at least thirty minutes. If you really don’t want to be there after that, we’ll leave. But I think this will do great things,” Diana said as she pulled into the parking spot.
Charlotte groaned. Thirty minutes was a long time, and she didn’t know how she was going to survive that time. What if she slipped into little space for the whole thirty minutes and couldn’t pull out?
How was she going to take care of herself when she got home? There were so many questions that ran through her head, and she didn’t know the answer to them. Diana wouldn’t come home and spend the night with her, not that Charlotte would allow her to.
She hadn’t been in her house, and Charlotte wasn’t going to let her come in. It was a mess, and Diana would be disappointed in the state of it.
“Ready?” Diana asked.
Nodding her head, Charlotte climbed out of the car and grabbed Diana’s hand as they walked toward the club front doors.
CHAPTER TWO
FINN
Finn thought tonight was going to be like every other night. Come to work, watch people, walk around to make sure everything was running smoothly, go home, and crash for the night.
It was exhausting doing this every night, but he had to. Well, he didn’thaveto because there were eight other club owners. Finn didn’t have to be here every night, he chose to be here.
He worked well over the normal forty hours per week, but he didn’t have anything better to do. He didn’t have anyone to come home to or many friends or family that were outside of the other eight owners. It was just a cold, dark, lifeless house, and he avoided going there unless he had to sleep.
Sometimes Finn found himself sleeping in his office so he didn’t have to go home. It was better to be in a club that had people in it, feeling like he wasn’t alone, than to go home and be alone. He thought about going home early tonight to get some good sleep, but something stopped him. Or, well, someone stopped him.
Finn was walking by the window that faced the club’s big playroom. His eyes were immediately drawn to the little girl that walked in through the entrance. She was absolutely breathtaking with her long red hair and green eyes. She looked tense, and it took everything in him not to stalk downstairs and ask her what was wrong.
He didn’t like when the littles that came into the club were tense. He wanted everyone to be comfortable and let go while they were here. That was why all nine of them came up with the club, so people like them could have a safe place to come to.
He wanted anyone to come in and be safe, feelsafe, and most cases that happened, but there were a few who came in and didn’t feel that way. One of the nine owners always listened and tried to make them more comfortable.
That was what Finn wanted to do right now. He wanted to go to the girl and ask how he could make her more comfortable. Ask why she was so tense and see if he could help any, but this wasn’t like all the other times. He felt a connection toward her, and he couldn’t explain it.
He had seen her walk in with a lady, probably her Mommy since she wasn’t doing anything. Finn’s heart broke with that thought.
He didn’t know why he was feeling this way toward this particular little. Finn also had never taken an interest in any little since opening the club several years ago with his friends. He had never seen her before.
How had he never seen her before? Could she have come whenever he wasn’t in the club or in meetings and couldn’t look at the guests?
He didn’t like to mix work with pleasure, but how else was he going to find that special girl for him? It was hard to go outside of the club and meet people. He had tried it before, but the person just wanted to be with him and faked being little.
He knew it wasn’t all like, that but he couldn’t help not wanting to do it anymore because of that one instance.
It was also hard for Finn to find a little. Once a little heard that he was one of the owners, they changed. They tried to impress him and make Finn like them more. They acted fake, and he didn’t like that. He didn’t want that either. He wanted a genuine little who didn’t have to act a certain way.
It never worked. Once they changed, Finn knew what they were like. He hated judging people, but he also didn’t want to waste his time. He was getting older, and all he wanted to do was settle down with his little girl and live his life.
Finn was also a very busy man, as he worked long hours for the club. All of his friends and co-owners wanted him to take more time off and try to find a little. They could see how stressed he was.
Finn scoffed at that several times. None of the other owners had littles of their own. They were all searching for a little to cherish. Finn thought that they needed to focus on finding their own and not worrying about him and his life.
He thought back to the little girl that was downstairs. She was different. He didn’t know how, maybe how she acted, but she was different.
