She relaxed in his embrace and leaned into his touch. It was an awkward position since he was running his hand through her hair, but she didn’t care. Finn brought her a sense of peace she didn’t realize she needed until now.
Finn gently moved her around his lap so she was laying her head on his chest and her legs were hanging. He held her close to him and slowly rocked back and forth.
“Such a good girl,” he whispered as he looked down at her.
A blush covered her face, and she buried her face in his chest, trying to hide from him. She loved it when he called her a good girl. It made her feel all tingly inside, but especially tingly between her legs, and she couldn’t help it.
It was his voice, deep and authoritative but calm and soothing all at the same time. It did things to her that had never happened before.
Charlotte’s eyes started to droop the longer Finn held her. He was so warm and comfortable.
“Don’t fall asleep on me,” Finn teased her. “I might have to keep you if you do.”
She wanted to tell him that it was tempting. What would it be like to be his? Would she feel cherished and loved? Would he take good care of her but also discipline her when she needed it?
So many thoughts ran through her head when she looked up at him. She wanted to ask him all of those questions and get answers, but she didn’t know him that well.
Charlotte didn’t want to run him away before she even got to know him. He was her first potential Daddy, and she didn’t want to screw it up.
“I want to see you again. Is that alright?” Finn asked, pulling her from her thoughts.
Her eyes went wide before she nodded her head. She couldn’t believe that he wanted to see her again.
“Charlotte, I need words.” He grabbed her chin to gain her attention.
“Yes, sir,” she whispered as she looked into his eyes.
She felt so weird looking into his eyes, but she didn’t know where else to look. Charlotte knew if she looked at his lips that thoughts would run through her mind, naughty thoughts.
“Good,” he replied with a smile on his face. “Can I see your phone to give you my number?”
She stared at him with wide eyes again, not believing he wanted to give her his phone number. All of this was surreal and it crossed her mind that this might be a dream. A dream she didn’t want to wake up from.
Charlotte moved her hand to her arm and pinched herself. She winced from the pain, and Finn’s eyes looked alarmed.
“What’s wrong? Did I hurt you?” he asked.
“N-no,” Charlotte whispered. “I pinched myself.”
She was hoping he wouldn’t hear that part, but she was wrong when his eyes narrowed on her.
“Why did you pinch yourself?” he asked as he looked at her arm where there was probably a pink, little spot.
“I thought I was dreaming,” Charlotte muttered, not looking into his eyes.
“What was that? I didn’t hear you.”
Charlotte closed her eyes and took a deep breath in. She felt embarrassed. Would that push him away from her?
“Charlotte,” Finn warned. “Nothing you say will make me not want to get to know you. You can tell me anything.”
She opened her eyes and looked up at him. He was already looking at her with a small smile on his face, encouraging her to tell him.
“I thought I was dreaming,” Charlotte said a little louder but not too loud. She didn’t want other people to hear her.
“Oh, little one. You aren’t dreaming. I’m here with you right now, wanting to get to know you.” Finn brushed his hand across her cheek.
Charlotte’s head was still resting on his arm and part of his chest. She was relaxed, but she still felt embarrassed that she thought she was dreaming.
