After we went home, I bathed him and sucked his cock better than any vacuum to show him that I wasn’t mad. The only grudge I held was to Lucifer.

It was the perfect start to a blissful night.

Now,we all sat on the couch watching scary movies. I curled up in my new horror-movie blanket and snuggled with Dex and Kain. It had all the human scary-movie villains on it. Several of our faction members were out patrolling and hunting, so we could unwind. We all needed a break before we ended up crashing or something.

Dex, you give me such wonderful gifts,I whispered to him through the bond as I snuggled into the blanket again. I was pretty sure only he heard me.

His connection to the Headmaster and his workers is cheating. I can give you gifts too.Trigger complained, telling me I didn’t know how to control the bond as well as I thought. Perfect.

Oh hush. He gets us these extra luxuries most people don’t get in Hell. Like twenty different horror movies. I’ve never celebrated Halloween, so get over it,Bones grumbled to his brother.

Aw, how come?I asked. Trigger pouted, but I could tell he wasn’t upset. He just wanted to get me gifts.Oh, and I don’t need things. I appreciate what you all bring to this relationship. So, stop pouting.

Bones snickered before responding. It’s Hell, every day is kind of Halloween, but after you and Lilah talked about it, I want to experience you at Halloween.

Me?

Yep.Every eye turned to me.We saw how happy you got, so we want to be a part of it,Dex explained. They turned back tothe movie playing. Good thing too because I was blushing up a storm.

Michael Myers just walked into the room of his next victim when Smokey’s large shadow form appeared out of the darkness under the TV to bark, making me jump in Dex’s arms. He chuckled and kissed my cheek. Kain stood from his place under my legs. Smokey kept barking, which, to be honest, sounded more like a chainsaw trying to say woof, and danced around Kain’s feet.

“Lilah is here,” Kain said as he walked to the door. Smokey’s head landed on my lap with a pitiful whine, so my fingers attacked his ears to cheer him up. I hadn’t gotten to spend much time with my favorite beast. I knew he was a part of Kain, but he was still an animal.

Kain swung the door open. Lilah, Brandon, and Demarcus walked in.

I got up from my cozy, love cuddles to give Lilah a hug. “Hey, beautiful. How are you?”

With her head on my chest, because she was a petite thing, she mumbled, “I miss you sleeping in my bed.”

I chuckled, giving Demarcus a wink. He growled but rolled his eyes. We both knew I wasn’t interested, but the fact I could take her if I wanted to with just a hint of my magic irritated him. As one of the top twenty, his demon was prideful. But there were nineteen demons stronger than him in the academy alone.

“Come on, we’re watching scary movies.” I grabbed her hand and led her to the couch.

Lilah gave me a little groan because she wasn’t a huge fan, but she plopped on the couch with me. Demarcus sat next to her, and Brandon sat at her feet. He was shorter than Demarcus, so I understood why he took the floor. It wasn’t a slave thing.

Her men were almost opposites. Demarcus had the ability to change the color of his skin. He’d chosen a russet-brown todaywith thick, dark curly hair. His eyes were always purple, though. Whereas Brandon had a fawn, pale complexion with freckles and straight, red-tinged, chocolate hair.

Next to Lilah’s tawny beige skin and bright-pink hair, they appeared to be as different as they could possibly be. Yet, it made them fit well together for some reason. I smiled.

I glanced over at Bones and Trigger who were sizing each other up, knowing the spot right in front of me could only fit one of them. The other would have to sit in front of Dex. Trigger glanced my way, so I winked at him. That did it. He launched himself toward me, but Bones was ready. He grabbed his brother with his beefy arms. Then, the tussle began. Trigger laughed, but Bones had a serious face.

Before either of them could claim the spot, Kain slid into it, resting his head on my thigh. I reached down and ran my hands over his firm chest instantly.

Dex burst into laughter. He wrapped an arm around me to silently say he wasn’t moving. His grip tightened when they stood, but they didn’t even look at him.

Alaric just snickered at it all.

My gaze shot to him. I almost whimpered at the distance between us. He sat in the chair slightly away from the couch. When he noticed me scowling at the empty air that separated us, he winked at me. That settle my demon. I didn’t like it, but I knew having all my men constantly within reach was unrealistic.

“That’s messed up,” Bones said as he stood to grab another chair for himself since the other half of the couch where Kain sat before was full. When he pulled out the blow-up bed from the hallway closet, I couldn’t help my laugh. Bones flipped both his brothers off and pressed the button to blow the Queen size bed up. It had magic built in thanks to Alaric’s father, so he was hugging the pillow that was left on it within seconds.

“Fucker.” Not to be out done—ever—Trigger scowled at Kain and snuggled against Dex. “Pet me, sex boy.” Dex snorted, so Trigger turned his scowl at him. “These assholes can’t win. I need to level the score. I can’t copy fucking Fae boy over there and Kain has Ivy, so get to petting me.”

Dex didn’t budge.

Trigger rolled his eyes. “Uh, please?”

That did it. With a groan, Dex ran his hands through Trigger’s long brown tresses. I reached over and scratched his scalp to help out. That got me a huff from Bones, but Kain just kissed my leg.
