I shake my head, wondering what in the hell I’m going to do with her.
“Sorry about what happened.”
I grunt. “Just don’t fuck up again.” Shifting Tim’s wait slightly as I carry his drugged and unconscious body through the woods toward my dungeon, I say, “Anyone follow the two of you?”
“Nope. I kept a close eye out. They were watching her to attack her like that in the bookstore parking lot.”
“It’s because of what she did during the mayor’s speech. It’ll escalate, especially once they figure out Tim is gone.”
“You have his cell?”
“Course. It was in his pocket.” I open the door to my tunnel, carrying Tim inside.
“Once you get him strung up, get his phone out so we can mirror it. Tim and Daniel have been worried about Aidan’s disappearance. Oddly, Richard doesn’t seem fazed. Probably because he just received a big drug shipment, so he’s preoccupied with that.”
“Fucking asshole. Who coordinated it?”
“The guy you’re currently carrying over your shoulder.”
I drop the piece of shit on the ground. Aidan turns his head and starts whimpering as he stares at Tim. I throw him a glare before walking over and punching him.
“I can’t wait to have some fun with these two. Once they’re both awake, it will be fun to get the truth out of them.”
“Do you think he was the asshole who sold drugs to your brother and his friends?”
A vile grin stretches across my face. “We’ll find that out soon enough. I have to tie this bastard up. Watch over Delaney… and don’t fuck up again.”
I end the call. My limbs shake from the anger coursing through them.
“I can’t wait to fucking torture your worthless ass.” I spit on Tim’s unconscious body before grabbing the chains to string him up.
Tim is hangingfrom the ceiling a short distance away. I’ve bound both their ankles together and shoved a rag in Aidan’s fucking loud mouth after he started screaming like a little bitch.
I glare at him, and he shuts up, but the chains still swing from how his body vibrates from fear.
Grabbing the hose, I spray Tim’s body with cold water, smiling as he screams and sputters.
“Good. Now that you’re awake, I have a few questions.” I stand in front of him, still wearing the Michael Myers mask. The thing is hot as fuck, and I need to take it off soon.
“W-Who are you?” His wild eyes dart from me to the torture table behind me. When he turns his head and spots Aidan, his eyes widen, and he looks like he just pissed himself. “A-Aidan.”
“You’re not talking to that asshole right now.” I crack the whip across his bare torso, making him scream. His clothing is in a pile beside Aidan’s.
Yup. He pissed himself.
I grab and turn the hose on, hosing his lower half down. Then I turn it on Aidan just to make the little bitch scream into the gag.
“I have some questions. You have the answers.” I pick up the blow torch and turn it on. Then, I grab the chainsaw and fire it up before turning it off. “Answer correctly, and you keep your limbs. Lying will result in severed and burned limbs. Got it?”
He nods, tears rolling down his face.
“We’ll start with an easy question.” I lower the chainsaw and pull off my mask. Running my hand through my hair, I ask, “Who am I?”
His mouth drops open, and he blinks a few times. “Z-Zayne M-Morine.”
“Correct.” I pull off my sweatshirt, revealing my muscles and the tattoos near my pecs.
“The next question is going to pertain to your friend and boss. These are gonna be hard ones.” My tone is full of venom and wrath. “If you don’t answer, it counts as a wrong answer…” I hold up the blow torch and turn it on. “The smell of burning flesh is rank. Cutting through flesh and bone is messy, loud, and painful.” My smile is vile. “At least for you. It’s fun for me.”
