His entire body shakes like the pussy he is. He swallows hard, his face whitening with a hint of a green tinge. I’m not sure if he’s going to puke or pass out.
“First question….”
The door opens, and Jaxson and Ryker stroll in with a six-pack of beer and some chips.
“Oh, good. We haven’t missed anything.” Jaxson says, his face wrinkling with disgust as he stares at Tim. “You’re the asshole who thought you were good enough forZayne’swoman.”
Rolling my eyes, I turn back to Tim. “Did you sell drugs to my brother, Zachary Morine, or his friends?”
He whimpers and doesn’t say anything.
I shove the blow torch into his stomach, listening to his howls, before pulling it away. Aidan is screaming behind the gag.
“You have some information you wanna add, Aidan?”
He nods, sweat pouring down his body. I take a few steps toward him and yank out the gag. “What is it?”
“Tim sold them drugs.”
“Shut up, asshole.” Tim whimpers, squeezing his eyes closed. “He’s lying.”
“Is he now?”
“No, I’m not lying. He worked with Delaney’s dad, who supplied the drugs. He wanted you away from his daughter.”
I pat Aidan’s shoulder. “Thanks for the honesty.”
“You fucking traitor,” Tim howls.
Turning, I shove the blow torch against his dick, making him scream. Aidan whimpers and cries beside me.
I pull it away. “Honesty gets you rewarded. Right, Aidan?”
He nods, tears flowing down his face. “Please. Let me go.”
A maniacal laugh comes from me. “Hell, no. But you can help me out by giving me all the details.” I hold the blowtorch higher. “Otherwise, I’ll burn your balls.”
CHAPTER 68
Zayne
It’s 6 am when I make it back to the woods, heading toward Delaney’s cabin. Despite the lack of sleep, I’m wired to see her.
I pause as I hear someone ahead. Shoving the mask over my face, I duck behind some large trees, waiting to see if it’s who I hope it is.
She comes over the hill, her brunette ponytail swinging behind her. She’s wearing a pair of black running tights and a pink long-sleeve top.
I grab my phone and send her a text.
ME: I see you.
She glances at the phone in her hand, her pace slowing before she stops to read it. Her breath heaves from her lungs, turning me on. But it’s the smile she can’t repress that does it for me.
MINX: Where are you?
ME: You better start running. I’m coming for you.
Her head pops up from her phone, eyes scanning the woods intently. I wait until she looks over her shoulder before jumping onto the trail and running toward her.
