My back and wings burned like they were still on fire. How long had I been out? A headache bloomed behind my eyes. I touched, feeling a knot that was swollen and painful. Fuck! There wasn’t anywhere I didn’t hurt.
A sneeze sounded behind me. I growled, whirling around to face my enemy.
Tiny. It was the first word that popped into my mind at seeing the frail-looking human girl before me. Reddish-brown hair that hung in waves down to her shoulders. She was dressed in a bright, yellow prison uniform that fit too tight around her hips and breasts. Her dark gaze darted around the cell like she’d only just realized she was here. She crossed her arms over her chest, bunching up the black printed numbers identifying her as eighty-two eleven.
“Who the fuck are you?” I ground out. This was the first human female I’d seen in this shithole. The Roulex had tried to get me to impregnate several of their scaled women in addition to a Sojlex, who gives birth to eight or nine at a time, two Jerin, a Bruda and half a dozen other species that I lost count. But never a human.
“Hi… I’m Jody,” she said like she was anywhere else but in a prison cell. “Th-they didn’t tell me you had horns.” She swallowed, her cheeks turning a pink color that made me want to touch them. “I knew about the wings and—Guess we’re going to be roommates. What’s your name?”
So the Roulex told her we had to have sex? Wondered what they’d done to convince her to mate with a total stranger—an alien that she’d never even heard of before if my horns had thrown her off. Or she was a prostitute. She didn’t have a bruise on her. Maybe she wasn’t fully human, but some subspecies I didn’t know that was allies with the Roulex. Whoever she was, innocent or sex worker, she would soon learn how cruel her new owners were when I didn’t yield.
Not my problem.
I turned my back on her and laid down. Eventually, the Roulex would get bored when I didn’t plow my dick into this one either. Felt bad that they would shuffle her off to another species to possibly breed with. But I had my people to protect. I couldn’t let a doe-eyed human be the cause of my ultimate destruction and that of my people.
