I suck, bite, and fuck her with my tongue, her keening moans driving me fucking insane. I can't get enough of this girl. This woman. She arches her back, pressing herself closer to my mouth, urging me on. She trembles beneath me, and her hands grip my head as she reaches the peak of pleasure. I find myself lost in the intoxicating taste and feel of her.

A string of curse words leaves my mouth when someone bangs on the office door.

"Boss!" Salem shouts. "Rossi's car just pulled up."

Fuck!

"Give me a minute," I yell.

I crawl up Kinsley's body and bury my face in her neck. "You make me feel so much, Kinsley. I'd go fucking crazy without you."

Her fingers are gentle in my hair. "I'm not going anywhere. You're mine too, Tiberius."

I keepa hand on Kinsley’s hip as Rossi enters the house, followed by Veronica. I thought it would be going a step too far with the man if I excluded his daughter from tonight's dinner. The man wanted a party; however, I chose to go with a dinner with only the Rossi and Edge families as guests. It would be easier to contain a small group than a larger one. I don’t socialize with any of the other families, and I’m not about to start now.

“Happy birthday, Kinsley,” Rossi says. “I hope you will have a good evening.”

While her father speaks, Veronica glares at Kinsley, her eyes unwavering. The urge to gather Kinsley into my arms and hide her away is strong. Instead, I move my hand from her hip to her waist and splay my hand on her stomach. It does not go unnoticed by both. Veronica looks fit to be tied, while her father frowns.

“Mr. Rossi,” Kinsley says. “Thank you for joining us this evening. I’m sure it will be entertaining.”

To my surprise, Rossi laughs. His daughter looks just as surprised, since the man is not known for his sense of humor. As the tension eases slightly, I feel relieved that Kinsley's quick thinking has diffused the immediate situation.

“I’ve brought you a small gift, dear.” Rossi hands Kinsley a wrapped package.

“Oh, that’s very kind of you.” Kinsley takes the gift and unwraps it to find a colorful swan brooch.

“Allow me.” Rossi reaches out.

Hell no!

I quickly snag the box and remove the swan. Holding the neckline of Kinsley’s dress, I pin the brooch in place. I meet her gaze and wish we were anywhere but here.

“Thank you, Mr. Rossi. It’s lovely.”

The man sure as fuck doesn’t look like the enemy right now. But then again, looks can be deceiving.

I catch a look from Nine, who is standing just outside the doorway. Cannon has arrived.

I put my mouth to Kinsley's ear and momentarily pause as a shiver runs through her. "Keep those thoughts for later. Edge has arrived,” I whisper.

Kinsley nods subtly, her eyes flickering toward Nine before returning to the conversation with Rossi.

"So, what are your plans with the house?" Rossi asks. "I wouldn't be opposed to making an offer."

I tense at the suggestion, wondering what the fuck the man is doing.

Kinsley slides a hand over the one I have on her stomach and slips her fingers between mine, squeezing gently to reassure me.

"The house belongs to the Lombardi family. Although I am the current owner, I will be transferring ownership over to Tiberius," she says, her voice barely audible over the chatter from our new guests being disarmed.

Cannon stands in the doorway with his eyes focused on Kinsley. I push away my unease at Rossi's offer and prepare to face the man who wants to take Kinsley away from me. The man who had Jude and Anna killed. The man who wants to take his vengeance out on my woman.

As Edge approaches, I steel myself for the confrontation, determined to protect Kinsley at all costs. I feel the tension in the air as our eyes lock. Kinsley squeezes the life out of my hand and takes a subtle step into my body when Edge stops to the side of Veronica.

"Are we the only guests?" he asks.

"Yes," I respond.
