Lizzy groaned. "I'm so used to living here and working across the street. If we have to move, I'll have to purchase a car. This is so infuriating. I really wanted to pay off the hospital bill within the next two years, too. Now, some of that will have to go toward first/last/deposit."
"You can carpool with me since we work together." Coco pointed at Roar and glared. "Don't be changing our hours or fire one of us."
Lizzy turned and wrapped herself around Roar. "Please, don't."
"Nothing is changing at The Fire Ring." He kissed her quickly. "I need to get going."
"Okay." She kissed him again. "See you later."
Roar walked out of the house. Lizzy gawked at Coco, unable to believe the news.
"This sucks," she said, and there was no joke behind the meaning.
She was bummed. Living close to the Slag clubhouse, she was able to see Roar pretty much whenever she wanted.
Living farther away would make everything more difficult.
