They were going to have a wedding in a gorgeous resort, and they had a wedding planner.

That was mind-boggling for her. Just two months ago, she was broken, alone, and wondering how she was going to live the rest of her life as a widow.

Then, in came her knight in shining armor.

Hailey was lucky.

And she knew it.

“Walk faster, Bo,” she said, dying to see it.

When he saw the wedding planner up ahead, he grinned, and Jennie gave him the thumbs up.

As he got her to the middle of the room, Bodhi moved his hand and stepped back.

Hailey was getting to see it for the first time.

When she opened her eyes, she gasped. The one wall was full of floor to ceiling windows, and the backdrop was the mountains.

They.

Were.

Gorgeous.

She couldn’t believe it.

As she turned in a circle, she took it all in. The place was spectacular.

It was also set up for someone else’s wedding that had to be happening tomorrow.

“Oh, Bo.”

He moved closer.

“Do you like it?” he asked. “We’ll have different flowers and settings, but this is where we’re going to have our first dance, Baby.”

Tears filled her eyes.

“Like it? Bo, I’ve never seen anything like this in all of my life. I’m not sure how to articulate it. I love it.”

That was all he needed to hear.

As Jennie came closer, she was checking out her watch. It was clear she was done with her day, and wanted to get this over with as soon as possible.

“Well? Is this the room you want to celebrate in with your loved ones?” she asked.

Hailey grinned.

“Yes. It’s perfection.”

The woman was so happy.

“We’ll email you a list of the food options, and you can choose your entrée and other foods. We’ll custom make it for you.”

Bodhi kissed her knuckles.

“I don’t care about the food. I care about that first dance as man and wife.”
