Her.
Too.
“Thank you for helping us,” Hailey said. “This is the best day of my life. Each one is getting better and better. I can’t imagine anything more perfect.”
Jennie was glad.
“Well, I hear you have a dress hunt later. I’m at the end of my shift, but if you need anything, here’s my cell number. You can text me. I have a prior engagement that I have to fulfill, but I’ll get back to you if you need me.”
She reassured her.
“I think we’ll be good.”
Jennie hugged them both, and headed away, leaving them to stand there.
Bodhi headed toward the windows, and Hailey followed.
“That’s one hell of a view,” she said. “You did good, Bo. This is perfect.”
He was watching her.
“I see something so much more majestic,” he admitted. “Jake, play some music for us,” he said, surprising her.
When a song came on, it was sweet, romantic, and perfect.
“I thought this could be our first dance together on our wedding day as a married couple.”
It was perfect.
Bodhi held her in his arms, and slowly, they danced in front of the mountain backdrop.
This was heaven.
Absolute heaven.
When he spun her out, she laughed so much and smiled so brightly that it made his heart skip a beat.
“God. I can’t wait to marry you.”
She went back into his arms, and found his mouth with hers.
“This is the best day of my life, and I wasn’t exaggerating, Bo. Thank you for this.”
He kissed her again, taking her mouth in love and heat. It sent shockwaves through both of their bodies. They’d had sex a few times, but he absolutely still wanted her.
When he set her lips free, he stared into her eyes.
“My sweet Hailey, I love you.”
Hailey touched his cheek.
“Bo, I’m the luckiest woman in the world. I love you too,” she admitted as they kissed again.
They lost track of time as the dead kept playing romantic songs for them. They kept dancing. It was when Bo’s phone chimed, that broke the kiss.
It was his work phone.
Hailey set him free.
