She handed it over.

“Here.”

“I’m sorry he lied to you,” Genesis said. “You may want to get tested. He’s passing Herpes around like breath mints on a new date.”

Her eyes went huge.

“Yeah, exactly.”

“I have to go,” she said, grabbing her keys and coat. “You have to leave!”

They were hustled out, and they watched as she got into a pink Jeep and hauled ass down the snowy road.

“Do you think she’s going to warn him or the nearest clinic?” Bishop asked.

“Clinic,” they both said.

The women shook their head.

“There’s something I need to bring up,” Tori said.

That had Bishop’s attention.

“She said her girlfriend was Jennie Smithson, right?” she asked.

They nodded.

“That’s the wedding planner we gifted Hailey and Bo to plan their wedding.”

Bishop laughed.

“Well, at least she knows how to fall in love. I mean, she’s oblivious that her girlfriend is getting dicked in a park with a side of Herpes as the favor.”

“I feel bad for her. She’s planning out people’s weddings, and the woman she loves is cheating on her.”

Yeah, that was sad.

They headed back toward the detective’s ride, and hopped in.

“We need to talk to the people who worked with Marny, and then see if we can catch Jennie,” Genesis admitted.

They agreed.

“Well, Jennie should be tied up with helping Hailey and Bodhi in a bit. She’s seeing the inside venue for the first time in an hour.”

Well, at least they would know where she is.

“Let’s head to the hotel,” Bishop said.

As they pulled away, she heard her phone chime. Pulling it from her pocket, she saw it was her husband who texted her.

‘Bish, Baby, if you get a chance, can you stop in the penthouse? I need to talk to you. I love you, Lucian.’

That was weird.

What could they have to talk about?

She hoped he was okay.
