“I do not know. Perhaps she drained herself too much last night. She kept herself quite busy.”

Terric looked back at the bed. “Bond with her again and do not let her lose so much of herself.”

Damian frowned.

“You do not need to go through the entire ritual. Fuck her and re-establish the bond. And keep a

closer watch on her from now on.”

Damian was close to exhaustion from the previous night and while he didn’t mind the idea of

fucking Sabrina, he didn’t know if he could at the moment.

“Do you need help?” Terric asked, a glint in his eyes.

Damian narrowed his and spun around. “Keep an eye on her. I will return when I’m ready.” He

stalked back to his room and shoved the women out of the way so he could lie down. What the hell

had happened? He had felt the bond reignite between himself and Sabrina last night when he’d

performed the ritual. He had marked her as his and taken her. Yes, she’d fought more than he’d

expected, but in the end, she’d submitted.

He shook his head and dropped his arm over his eyes to shield out the morning light. He’d figure

it out once he had some rest.

“LEWIS .”

The Elder of Philadelphia looked up from his desk, startled, and then a smile appeared. “My

lord!” He stood and looked eagerly between Damian and Sabrina. “What brings you to my Manor?”

Damian and Sabrina had teleported directly into the Philadelphia Elder’s office in his Manor. It

was so much quicker than taking human transportation. “Are you ready to begin your work for me?”

“Yes, my lord!”

Damian smiled. “Come, then. Let us begin.”

Lewis hurried to Damian’s side and in a flash of light, the three disappeared from Lewis’s office.

“What the—” Ted Kemp, Elder of San Francisco, looked up from his desk on the 20th floor of an

office building downtown. “Lewis? What the hell are you doing here? How did you get in here?”

Lewis smiled and embraced his friend. “I have good news, my friend.” He motioned to where

Damian and Sabrina waited. “These are the ones I told you about.”

Ted looked them up and down, frowning. “How the hell did you get into my office?” He looked

back at Lewis. “I told you I wasn’t interested.”
