in his situation.”

“Honey, he’s much more laid back than you are. Things roll off his back that would drive you

insane. I’m sure he’ll be fine. But if you’re concerned, talk to him about it.”

He stared out the window for a moment longer and then turned back to his mom. “You’re right.”

“But you need to let him go, if that’s what he feels he needs to do.”

The thought of Ethan leaving was like a punch to the gut, but his mom was right. Chase didn’t think

She nodded. “I think so.”

He greeted Ethan. “Is she?”

He chuckled and nodded. “She is.” He gave a nod and walked out of the room.

“How was the performance last night?”

Sabrina beamed. “Wonderful. I didn’t feel tired until the end. Ethan practically had to carry me

into the apartment.”

“I’m sorry I wasn’t there. I fell asleep and didn’t wake up until this morning.”

“It’s okay.” She put her hand on his chest and went up on her tiptoes to kiss him. “I figured as

Grace smiled. “Sabrina, let me introduce Sylvia Fernandez, the most skilled wedding planner in
