“Nah,” Bishop smirked. “There's a funny video at the end to lighten the mood.”
Joel whirled around on Quinn, and she felt Tenn and Quill immediately tense up. “How could you do this to me?”
“How could I do this to you?” Quinn laughed dryly at him. “You've cheated on me several times. Viki was the only one willing to sign that stupid contract, that's all.” The song changed to Cry Me a River. “You made choices, and I warned you. I told you that I would destroy you if you ever cheated on me.”
“Quinn, please, she doesn't mean anything to me.” He began to plead, realizing she knew way more than he thought she did. “None of them did. The things I did with them, I can't do with you. I respect you too much. And if you read the contract, you know it wasn't supposed to interfere with our marriage.”
“That doesn't make it better, Joel.” Quinn snapped, her anger coming back in full force at his attempt to minimize things. “If anything, it makes it worse.”
“He told me he loved me all the time.” Viki's eyes lit up maliciously. “Used to say my body was better -”
“SHUT UP YOU DIRTY LITTLE WHORE!” Joel screamed in her face. He quickly turned back to Quinn. “No, Babe, you know I love you.” He reached out. “Don't listen to her. She's trying to be mean.”
“Not true.” Viki folded her arms, still smirking, not at all phased by Joel's aggression. “He told me you had let yourself go and were too fat to fuck.”
The room fell deadly quiet. Even those who didn't know Quinn's history knew she had crossed a line she shouldn't have crossed. No one moved. Then Quinn started to laugh. “Oh, well.” She shrugged. “He's not my problem anymore.” She turned to Joel and pointed to the envelope. “Those are your divorce papers. All contact goes through the lovely Deedee from now on.” Quill walked up and slapped an envelope on his chest.
“You have thirty days to leave.” He smiled and walked over to Viki, handing her one too. “You also have thirty days to leave my house.”
“Your house?” Viki glared at him. “It's not your house.”
“Oh, but it is.” Tenn nodded. “I sold it to him earlier this week. Papers need to be signed and dotted, but he takes possession July first.”
“Look, it's my favourite part!” Bishop exclaimed, getting everyone's attention. The entire group looked up at the screen in time to see Joel drop Viki out the window and then flip out of it. The video and slideshow ended, and there was silence for a minute, and then there was a lot of yelling. Joel's parents were shouting at him and Viki. Viki's mother just looked defeated and sat in a chair, crying. Joel ignored his parents and tried to talk to Quinn. Viki was screaming back about all the nasty things Joel had done to her, and Joel swung around at her and yelled that she begged for it.
“You let me! You begged for it! “Please, Daddy, please, please fill my ass with your hot cum. I need it. Piss on me, Daddy!” He mimicked her high-pitched voice that Quinn and Tenn had heard her use the night they walked in on them. “She let me and two of the other sales guys rail her for hours, begged us to cum all over her body and didn't shower all weekend.” Viki's mother gasped, jumped up, and slapped her across the face so hard her head snapped sideways.
“How dare you!” She yelled. “How dare you take the worst night of my life and make it something you got pleasure from!” She reared back to slap her again, but Tenn stepped in. He leaned in close to her ear and said something. She collapsed against him and began to cry. He brought her over to his parents, and Quinn heard him ask them to take her to their hotel for the night and look after her.
His father nodded and dropped his sports coat on her shoulders while his mother put her arms around her and led her out the door. Viki watched her leave, her hand on her cheek in disbelief, and then she turned her rage on Joel. Yelling that his dick was small and he needed to make people feel bad to feel anything. Quinn felt a touch on her arm and turned to see Billy standing there with a small grin.
“Thanks for exposing him.” He said quietly. “I'll see you around Quinn.” He gave her a quick hug and left without saying a word to anyone else. Quinn frowned for a minute and then pulled out her phone and flicked through the pictures of the contracts. She hadn't paid too much attention when photographing them, but she knew Billy had quietly divorced his wife shortly after Quinn married Joel. Nadia Hudson. Quinn looked up.
“Seriously, Joel? Billy's wife?” She shouted, setting his parents off again before they disowned him. They passed Quinn with looks of profound disgust, but she wasn't having it. “You raised him.” She shrugged. Joel's mother started crying, and Deacon quickly led her from the house. Viki and Joel were still screaming at each other and didn't notice Deacon and Gladys had left. Joel finally walked away, going down the hall to his room and shutting the door. Viki tried to follow him, but Quinn caught Quill's attention, and he stepped forward.
“Think it's time to leave.” He folded his arms. “My sister doesn't want you here anymore.”
Viki turned to Quinn and glared at her. “You couldn't satisfy him. He was bored and disgusted with you.”
“Honey, if satisfying him meant I had to degrade and humiliate myself the way you did, then I don't give two flying fucks if I did or not. Actually, thank you for making it so I didn't have to lower myself to that level.” Tenn came up behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist and kissing her neck. “And your husband doesn't find me disgusting.”
Viki stared at them for a long moment. “Cunt.” She muttered. She walked out, and Tenn shut the door behind her. Quinn looked around at the people who were left.
“Well, I think the party is over, but you're welcome to stay, eat, drink, and enjoy what's left of the evening.” B.R. and Linda came over, smiling broadly.
“That was incredible.” B.R. chuckled. “I'm so glad you're about to be free from him.” They both hugged her. “We're going to head back to the Vineyard. If we leave now, we should be able to catch the last ferry -” A loud crash from the driveway interrupted him, and they all ran to the window in time to see Viki back up and ram her car into Joel's Cayman again. Joel came running down the hall and out the door, screaming at her to stop.
“Uh, Ron?” Quinn looked over and saw the P.I. was already on the phone.
“Yep, on it.” Quinn turned back to the scene and saw that Viki had stopped ramming his car, but only because she was now turning toward Joel.
“Holy SHIT!” Joel yelled as he dove out of the way. “Jesus Christ, Viki! Stop! Have you lost your mind?” Viki looked up and saw everyone standing in the window, staring at her, and backed up again.
“Fuck!” Quill yelled. “She's going to ram the house. Get out of the way!” Everyone scrambled back and off to the sides as Viki slammed her foot on the gas and drove her car through the front of the house with a tremendous crash!
Chapter Forty-Nine: Tying Up Loose Ends
As dust and debris began raining down, Tenn pushed Quinn against the wall, covering her with his body. She closed her eyes, pressing her face into his chest. When it was quiet, Tenn pushed back off the wall and looked down at her, running his hands over her. “Are you okay?” he asked anxiously. She nodded, coughing.
