“Show me how badly you want it, Kiara, and I’ll give it to you.” I lean down and run the tip of my tongue along the shell of her ear, making her shiver. She puts her hands on my chest, but she doesn’t try to push me away.
Yolanda and the pretty boys slam on the door and kitchen windows, but I ignore them.
She swallows, eyes searching mine. “I only want my pendant, and then I want you to get the hell out of my life.”
“Kiara, are you okay?!” Yolanda screams from the porch.
“She’s going to call the police, Zyran. Just give it up already.”
“They won’t be able to make any calls anytime soon, unless they’re smart enough to figure out that I’ve jammed the cell service. So, it looks like your only option is to run and hide. If I find you, you’ll never get rid of me.”
She lifts a brow. “And if you don’t?”
I laugh. “How silly of you to think I won’t.”
Kiara closes her eyes and sighs defeatedly. “Fine.”
Slowly, I take a step back. I pull out the knife from my boot and hold it against the pulse-point on her neck. Her breathing quickens from the feel of the cool metal digging into her skin. “Call off your little friends,” I say coldly.
I can see the wheels turning in her head. She’s thinking of a way out of this, but there is none.
“Promise you won’t hurt them. I’ll never forgive you if you do.”
Without hesitation, I say, “You have my word, butterfly. Now make your fucking friends leave.”
She’s going to do what I say. She’s going to beg and plead for her locket just as much as she will for my cock. I’m going to bury myself deep inside that sweet pussy and fuck my very being into her.
Kiara is mine, and I’ll take her by any means necessary.
CHAPTER 29
KIARA
Reluctantly, I turn to the front door and open it. Like I’d suspected, Yolanda is frantically trying to call 911, but judging by the way she keeps jabbing her thumbs into her phone screen, it’s obvious that the jammer is doing its job. Anthony and his friends look just as confused.
“Yo,” I say quietly.
Her alarmed eyes shoot to mine. “Kiara—thankGod. I was trying to call the police but?—”
“Go home.”
I shiver as the tip of Zyran’s knife trails down my spine. He stands behind the door, just barely out of sight, so Yolanda can’t see him.
Yo drops her hands to her hips and narrows her eyes at me. “What the fuck do you mean? Let’s go.Now.”
I shake my head and try to ignore the way Zyran’s free hand explores my ass. He fingers the outline of my back pockets, sending thrills throughout my whole body. I stifle the urge to close my eyes and lean back into his touch.
“I’m safe. He won’t hurt me,” I assure her.
For a few moments, she doesn’t break eye contact. I can practically hear her thoughts as she watches me intently, worry lines creasing her forehead.
I give her a small, forced smile. “I promise. Just please don’t call the police. You’ll only make things worse.”
Yolanda sticks her phone into her pocket and eyes the door warily, seemingly able to see Zyran through it. “Are you sure?”
I nod, trying to ignore the way Zyran’s fingers travel over the nape of my neck. “I’m sure. I promise.”
Anthony and his friends shoot me an irritated look. “So, we came all the way here for nothing?”
