“Well, honestly, I’ve managed probably four minutes in the total time I’ve been out here of twenty minutes to actually not do anything. The rest has been me texting the guys and doing my college readings through the remote setup Mason managed to get sorted for us all while we’re up here.” I stretched my arms above my head and cracked my neck. “The boys are all about me relaxing and trying to clear my head with the work ahead of me regarding tracking Malcolm Lynch. I need to be on point. At my best.”
“I can help with that.”
“Yeah, I was planning on asking you. I know you had doubts about your coding skills when they came up against mine, but like I said, you can hold your own really well.” I grinned. “Plus, I told you I’d teach you a few things and this is the perfect situation.”
“While I appreciate that and I’ll be right beside you there, I actually meant I can help you with the relaxing.”
She opened her robe then shrugged it off her shoulders.
My cock jerked in my board shorts.
I drank in the sight of her in a hot-pink string bikini that was doing amazing justice to her curvy, compact body.
Spectacular.
“Mmm, baby, you come over here within my reach and relaxing isn’t gonna be the word for what’s gonna go down.”
“We’re with him on that,” Colt’s voice came from the patio doors.
I’d been so taken with Brianna that I hadn’t even noticed him and Mason coming out onto the heated patio area carrying the food they’d prepared.
I noted that they’d thankfully kept to cooking three large frozen pepperoni pizzas.
Although they’d also made what looked like a Caesar Salad.
And I saw a Band-Aid stuck to Colt’s left forearm.
“Really? How did you cut yourself there?” I asked, gesturing at it.
“The knife slipped out of my hand. No worries, it was just a slight nick, a scratch.”
I looked to Mason for his confirmation, knowing well Colt’s tendency to downplay his mishaps in the kitchen, because he really wanted to lose his bad cooking rep.
“Just a scratch for real,” he confirmed with a grin.
That grin faltered when he stepped out after Colt and took in the sight of Brianna in her hot-as-sin string bikini. “Jesus fuck.”
I chuckled. “Not subtle for once, huh?”
“How can I be, brother?”
Brianna’s cheeks flamed. “Stop.”
“Come here, Wildflower,” I said, holding out my hand to her and standing up in the water.
Her gaze heated as she took in my bare chest and my board shorts hanging low on my hips, a swirling red and black design.
Well, her reaction was probably mostly due to my hard-on pushing against them.
It had happened even before she’d shrugged off her robe, the moment she’d come out here.
That was how hard-up I’d been for her.
Because of our disagreement before all of this had gone down, it had been way too long since we’d had her.
Judging by the hooded gazes of Colt and Mason as they watched her walk up the stone steps toward me, they were feeling it too, right there with me.
That was proven in the next moment when they both hurriedly put the food down on the patio table, then stripped off their t-shirts.
