Levi: Vividly.

Mason: You fingering my ass got her off too, gorgeous.

Hmm. He was being open about his sexuality again.

It was a very good sign with him.

Levi: Get over yourselves. She just likes seeing other people pleasured. Heightens the freeing experience for her.

Colt: Don’t be jealous of our anal play, Lev. Just say the word.

Mason: Not his scene.

Colt: Only doing it to Bree.

Mason: Exactly. So, Lev, we’re good here. We’ll be out in five or ten. Just have a relaxing time in the springs until we bring out dinner.

Levi: Sounds good. Appreciate it, brothers.

Colt: Always.

Mason: Got you.

I smiled and put my phone down on the slate tile at the side of the springs.

Then I sank back and reveled in the soothing warm, bubbling water, and the peace and quiet, along with the serene snowy view all around.

I closed my eyes and breathed it all in.

“Hey.”

I blinked and looked to see what I first considered could be an apparition, only illuminated a little in the darkness from the lights on inside the house and the pot lights on the stone steps that led up either side of the oval hot spring pool to the entry points to safely climb in.

But the more I looked, the more I realized she couldn’t be more real standing there on the heated patio area wrapped only in her bubblegum-pink bathrobe, her black hair all wild and cascading about her face.

And those fucking mesmerizing whiskey-colored eyes of hers glinting back at me.

Before I could get a word out, she wrung her hands in front of her, looking all nervous as she said, “I’m sorry.”

I frowned. “Sorry for what?”

“Hiding away for the last day.”

“No need for apologies at all. You needed space and time to process all those revelations. We all get it.”

“They do, but I know it’s harder for you with the root of our connection. For me to cut you out—”

“Brianna, I really do get it. It is hard for me, yeah. But what mattered was what you needed.” I smiled. “Not to say I didn’t have moments of wanting to break down the door and barge on in to see you, but I managed not to with some help from the boys, because it was about what was best for you.”

Her lip curled up into a soft smile. “Please. You wouldn’t have broken down the door, you would’ve picked the lock.”

I chuckled. “Damn straight.”

“So, you’re actually out here taking a beat, not keeping busy?”

“Seems impossible, huh?”

“Not impossible, but improbable, yes.”
