Yesterday was exhausting and a performance like that takes a lot out of me, but I’ll get my energy back after today but I’m going to be dragging ass until then.

I make a pot of coffee, getting them all to go cups together, knowing they will want some coffee today. I hear heavy footsteps coming down the stairs causing me to look up and I see Koda walking into the kitchen.

"You ready for today?" I ask softly, and he shrugs his shoulder, somewhat quiet, his typical quietness before a big game.

"Yeah, I’m ready."

"Good."

"So, last night."

"I knew Macie, I knew that you could do all that, but I wasn’t telling anyone until you wanted to."

I nod before my words whisper out, "Thank you, Koda, for always being there for me."

He chuckles, "Always Mac." His arm comes around my shoulders as he kisses the top of my head, before he pulls himself away. Grabbing the coffee I start making each of theirs the way they like it.

Soon Sully and Jax are also in the kitchen all looking ready, but I can see the nerves in them all.

"Guys." They all look at me. "Just remember, you guys were brought here for a reason, your talent. Don’t underestimate yourselves."

The smiles spread across their faces, and I shoot them all a wink.

"What would we do without little baby girl." Sully playfully says, in his normal playful way as he grabs his coffee I’m holding out for him. He kisses my cheek before he is headed to the garage.

"Thanks Mac." I nod with my smile to my brother, handing him his coffee, before Jax steps in front of me, "You’re too good to us."

I smile as I look up, meeting his gaze, "We’re family Jax. This is our family."

He nods with his smile before he leans down whispering against my lips, "See, Angel, always so perfect, kind, and beautiful."

I huff my smile before he claims my lips and my arms wrap around his neck as he stands to his full height, pulling my feet from the floor, wrapping his arms around me.

"I’ll call you in a little while, after my morning workout."

"Okay, don’t worry about me, today is your day."

"I’ll always worry about you Angel."

I smile before I press my lips to his, and we both embrace each other for another moment before he sets my feet on the floor, "Talk soon Angel."

"Talk soon."

He kisses my cheek before he is also out the door and I get to cleaning the mess that was created in my house last night.

And before long the guys all start waking up. Bree and Keri have emerged from my room and now everyone is just chilling in my house, waiting for the game later today.

I text my mom and see if she would like to have lunch with Bree, Keri and I, trying to repair any kind of relationship we may still have with caution.

And she agrees to it, so I go up to my room to get myself ready for the day. I take a quick shower, get myself pampered up, my usual, and get dressed. Nervous in a way, maybe hoping it all goes well, and there are no arguments today.

Making my way back downstairs, I see my mother and Paul talking with Bree and Keri. Kenny had to go back home last night, but he gave Keri and Bree a few days off to hang out with me. The guys well, Paul’s here so they can be.

Meeting them in the living room, joining their conversation.

"Can you make sure they don’t destroy my house today, Paul; they are your team."

He chuckles, but nods with his words, "Don’t worry, they still have a work-out today."
