Jesus. It was like I was thirteen, going on my first date. I reminded myself that this was fake.
But nothing about last night felt pretend. It was incredible.
Normally, when I slept with a woman, once we’d both got what we needed, I couldn’t wait to leave. But given the chance, I would’ve devoured Mia over and over, until I took my last breath. The connection was unreal.
I knew I should’ve stopped when we’d finished in the kitchen, but I couldn’t help myself. One taste of her and I wanted more.
I’d hoped that after our session in the shower, I’d be satisfied, but nope. Seeing the droplets of water running down her beautiful tits, then between her thighs, hearing her scream my name as I pinned her against the wall and made her come… those images along with the ones from the kitchen and our quickie this morning played on repeat in my mind all day.
We were treading on dangerous ground. This couldn’t go anywhere. And tonight I’d have to remind her of that. Make sure we were both on the same page. The last thing I wanted to do was hurt her.
Thinking about it, inviting her tonight wasn’t the best idea. But when I was offered two tickets, Mia was the first person that came into my mind.
‘Hey, Phil.’ I smiled as he opened the car door and I slid onto the back seat.
Mia was right. Taking the Tube would’ve been quicker. But it was rush hour and these days it wasn’t easy for me to walk around without someone recognising me.
Things had been calmer with the paps, which was a relief. But everyone had mobile phones, so it only took seconds before photos made their way onto social media. The car was a better option.
Getting to Mia’s office took longer than expected, so by the time I called to let her know we were downstairs, it was almost 6.45.
As I saw her walking towards the car, my heart jumped into my throat. She was a vision.
Mia was wearing the fitted orange structured dress I’d ordered and black heels. My dick twitched. I’d always thought she looked hot as hell in those formal dresses and imagined what lay beneath. But now I knew exactly how she looked naked. Now I’d felt her soft skin. Now I’d tasted her and I’d buried myself inside her, everything was different.
Phil opened the door and Mia got in.
‘Oh!’ Her eyes widened. ‘When you said you’d send a car, I thought I’d be on my own.’ Mia put on her seat belt and Phil pulled out into the traffic.
‘I finished early, so I thought I’d come with you.’
Mia bit her lip.
‘I’d really like you to come with me,’ she teased.
Before I could stop myself, I crushed my lips on hers. As her mouth parted, I slid my tongue inside, flicking it gently against Mia’s.
Her hands dipped beneath my jacket and she ran her palms over my chest.
‘Fuck.’ I pulled away. I’d just finished telling myself this wasn’t a good idea, then thirty seconds later I end up kissing her. I needed to get a grip. Fast. ‘You’re addictive, you know that?’
‘I’ll take that as a compliment.’ She smiled, which only made the situation in my pants worse.
‘Mia, in case it wasn’t obvious, I like you, but…’
‘I get it.’ She pressed her finger over my lips and I had to fight the urge to slide it into my mouth.
She said she understood, but I wanted to make sure. The privacy screen was up and Phil had been vetted, so I felt able to speak freely.
‘I… last night was… incredible. But I’m just not the relationship type. They never last, so it’s better not to go down that road. And it’s complicated. I live in LA and—’
‘Like I said,’ Mia jumped in, ‘I get it. I know you don’t want anything serious. Last night was… fun. Nothing’s changed. We can just stick to what we agreed before.’
‘It’s for the best.’ I nodded. ‘We shouldn’t let anything happen again.’
‘Absolutely,’ Mia agreed.
I scooted back over to my side of the car. Mia fidgeted with her handbag whilst I stared out the window. The traffic was thick and we were at a standstill, which meant I could enjoy looking at Tower Bridge. As I glanced at the iconic towers and the waves of the River Thames dancing underneath it, I smiled.
