I press my thighs together when I feel that tingling feeling between my thighs. I already know my face is beat red.
“Thank you, Hayden. Seriously. It’s too much.”
Hayden’s eyebrows furrow while looking at the necklace. My eyes go to the piercing on his eyebrow before going down to his plumped lips.
He licks his lips making me look up to meet his eyes. “Stop doing that,” he whispers in a seductive tone.
“Doing what?”
“Looking at me like you want me to take you into one of the rooms and have my way with you.”
I blush, immediately. “I’m not.” I turn my head to the side but Hayden grabs my chin to make me look at him.
He whispers, his lips coming close to mine.
“You look at me, too. Don’t think I don’t notice.”
Hayden smirks while looking down at me. The way he stares at me makes me feel like I’m the only girl in the world. I feel so special which is something I have never felt from anyone.
It feels good.
I want to be stared at more by him.
He stares at me for what seems like eternity, our faces slowly leaning towards one another until I hear Natalia.
“Jaclyn!” she yells from the dining room. “Come here before I eat everything!”
Hayden groans silently and he pulls away, taking his hand off my chin. “Did you do a shot?” I shake my head, my voice suddenly gone from the moment we had. “Go do one. I’ll tell Natalia.”
I walk away from Hayden, my body suddenly feeling cold from not being near him.
I get into the nearest bathroom and look at myself in the mirror.
She doesn’t look familiar.
The girl in the mirror, she looks flushed, worn out but in a good way.
Her eyes shine and they look sparkly.
She looks like the type to trust men easily and will eventually get heartbroken.
My brain and my heart are going different directions which is what I’m afraid of happening. I can’t like Hayden because eventually, soon enough, I’ll want to give him everything.
And then what will I be left with in the end?
Twenty-Six
Jaclyn
“Wicked Games” by The Weeknd is blasting through the speakers as we walk through the club doors.
Clubs definitely have a different vibe than college parties. A lot more people are dressed up, hoping to find someone to go home with and all drinking alcohol at the bar.
None of us are twenty-one so me and Natalia drank at the house. I only had two shots because I felt Hayden’s eyes on mine and Natalia kept asking me if I should drink or not. I told them one drink was okay and that I would be basically normal.
I just wanted to be included with Natalia so that I could have fun with her.
Nothing will happen if I have one sip or shot. The reason I got admitted to the hospital was because I ate more than I should and I didn’t really control myself when it came to food. I can eat and drink whatever I want, I just have to do it in moderation and pay attention which I didn’t do last time.
