“I’m not sure how a relationship with three people works, but I’m willing to try.” Will turned to Nathan. “How about you?”
“I never considered a threesome before, but it sounds appealing to have a willing female available during the week.”
Ruby stiffened. “The week?” she squeaked. “I was thinking spending the weekends together. And. And, well, being exclusive.”
“Definitely exclusive,” Will grumbled. “I’m willing to share you with him,” he gave a pointed look in Nathan’s direction, “but no one else.”
Nathan stroked her calf. “Like him, I’m feeling rather possessive about you, too.” He slid his hand to her ankle. “But just the weekends won’t work if you ask me.”
“How so?” Will’s blunt question came seconds before Ruby could formulate her own.
“You can't find out if a relationship works unless you spend significant time together.” Nathan’s voice took a serious edge. “It's easy to be on your best behavior when you're briefly together, but cooking, sharing space, doing laundry and such—that's where you get to know each other.”
“You suggest moving in together?” Will’s voice rose at the end of the sentence.
“It might be a bit early to do that, but I suggest we’ll be spending a lot of time together,” he tapped his forefinger on Ruby’s leg as he contemplated, “for let’s say three to four months.”
“I could do that,” Will conceded.
“All ...” Ruby sighed. “All right. We can do this.”
Will glanced away from her and his eyebrows climbed to his hairline in silent communication with Nathan, who tightened his grip on her legs. The silence stretched, and her stomach knotted. Ruby pulled in a shuddering breath and anxiously waited. She didn’t know what she’d expected, but when Will crushed her to his chest and claimed her mouth in an amorous kiss, she threw her arms around his neck and hung on for dear life.
When Will lifted his mouth from her, his lips were wet and swollen. Although his eyes sparkled with a dark desire, he untangled her arms with strong, careful fingers from behind his neck and placed her hands in Nathan’s palms. With a tug, the other Dominant pulled her over to his side of the loveseat, and he kissed her as passionately and skillfully as Will.
When they finally came up for air, Will grinned. “You look sexy and thoroughly fuckable like this, but something smells divine in your kitchen. How long will it keep?”
“It’s meat sauce in the crock pot. I just need to boil pasta, but I always save that for last since it’s so easy to overcook.”
Will glanced over to Nathan. “Food first, or sex?”
“Let’s work up an appetite first.” With Ruby in his arms, Nathan rose to his feet. “Show us your bedroom, subbie.”
Ruby giggled and grabbed his shoulders to keep her balance. Her gaze caught Will, his eyes dark and hungry on her.
“It’s the second door on the left.”
Without missing a beat, Nathan strode through the hallway with Will hot on their heels.
Will shouldered past. “Here partner, let me help you with that.” He pushed open the bedroom door with a flourish.
Nathan stepped inside and halted dead in his tracks. “Now that has possibilities.” Satisfaction oozed from his voice.
Ruby lifted her face and craned her neck to see what caught his attention. He spotted my bed.
In one of her angry periods, Ruby had studied welding. The process of manipulating something as hard and unyielding as steel was a perfect distraction from all the things she couldn’t change.
For the final project, she’d created a king-size four-poster bed. She made it from her fantasy with enough anchor points to tie a woman in every position imaginable. After the course was over, she’d added a hidden cage and a suspension rig as a challenge to herself. She would not tell the men about the extra features yet.
Behind them, Will shifted and glanced over her and Nathan’s shoulder. “The fuck it has.” He turned his head, lowered his eyes and locked them on Ruby. “Have any rope here?”
At a loss for words, Ruby shook her head.
“I bet she has scarfs, though.” Nathan’s strode forward, turned and sank down on the mattress.
“This is a magnificent bed. Must have cost a fortune.” Will ran his hands over a sturdy metal post and admired the strategically placed rings.
Ruby tipped her head back. “Nah, the material isn’t that expensive.”
