He claps his hands. “Enjoy your food, you know my number if you need me. I’m going to go home. I have a guy coming over.”

Trey puts his bowl down, giving him the dad look. “Be safe. If he does something you don't like, you tell me and I will solve that shit.”

I cover my grin. “I’ll do just that, Trey,” Andy says. He leaves, but I can tell that Trey totally made his day.

“You’re a total softy.” I hit his shoulder lightly. Vinny laughs out loud. I look at him, confused to what’s so funny, but he just winks and goes back to his food.

Okay, weirdo.

Today is the day I meet Trey’s parents, and to say I’m nervous is an understatement. His mom’s name is Katherine, his dads’ names are Ben and Alex.

We drive outside of town for like fifteen minutes before we reach a gate that shows a huge house down the long driveway.

Vinny holds my hand, reassuring me. He’s already met them a bunch of times, but this is new for me. I want them to like me so much. I love their son so much and I want their approval because it matters to Trey.

We pull up front and a woman steps out onto the front porch, waving excitedly at us.

Okay, that makes me feel a whole lot better.

Trey pulls me to his side. I offered to sit in the back so they could have extra room, but they wanted me with them.

I love riding around with them, with both of their hands on my thighs; the tattoos on their arms drive me crazy.

Andy has the day off. He’s out with the guy he is seeing, and I want to meet him to make sure he is good for him.

The girls went shopping along today, and we have one of the prospects driving them around wherever they want to go.

We walk up the steps and I’m immediately hugged by Trey’s mother. “It’s so nice to meet you. Trey has told me so much about you.” She lets me go, putting her hands on my cheeks. “You’re beautiful.”

I smile happily. “Thank you so much, so are you!” And she is, she is gorgeous. Trey has her eyes.

The door is pushed open and two guys step out. I know immediately that these are Trey’s dads. They go straight to Katherine and have their hands on her.

I can see where Trey got it from. “I’m Ben.” The skinnier of the two comes forward, shaking my hand. “It’s nice to meet you, Ben. I’m Lani.” He smiles in response, his eyes lighting up. The bigger of the two steps toward. “Alex,” he says warmly. I shake his hand and I assume right off the bat that Alex is Trey’s biological dad. They’re both huge and have the same facial features.

“Come on, dinner is ready.” Katherine takes her guys’ hands and she pulls them inside behind her. She’s so tiny compared to them.

It also gives me hope that this can actually work. They are the proof. I know without a doubt that these men are my soul mates. We are meant to be together, but to see them actually having this for years now?

That’s a big deal for me.

“See? Not so bad,” Trey whispers in my ear.

“I just want them to like me,” I whisper back. His hand slips down and grabs my ass. “Baby, no one can not like you,” Vinny pipes in, and I swat Trey’s hand away before his parents can see.

We walk into the dining room and we’re greeted by a huge spread of food. We sit down and Trey puts his hand on my stomach without thinking, rubbing as he talks to Vinny.

I catch Alex looking. His eyes are glued to my stomach. My face heats, knowing that we haven’t told them yet. That was actually one of the main reasons why we were planning to visit.

His eyes lighten and he crosses his arms across his chest. I take ahold of Trey’s hand, who stops talking to look at me before he looks at his dad.

Katherine comes into the dining room and sits down. “You tell them,” I whisper to Trey.

“Mom, Dads, we have something to tell you.” I hold my breath, waiting for him to finish. Alex already knows, I feel, but Katherine and Ben don’t.
