“You on the cover of Diamond Gossip magazine going into a hotel room with a woman.”

“Okay.”

“Okay? Is that it?”

“I mean, yeah?”

“You should not be in Vegas, first of all. Second, you and your women are constantly in the media for the wrong reasons.”

“Sarai, you worry too much,” I said.

“That’s my job, and now I have to try to put out statements that you’re not engaged and having a baby.”

“That’s what I pay you for, right?”

“Don’t get smart with me. How many times have I quit on you?”

I grunted, running a hand down my face, knowing she’d be quick to drop me in a split second. Hell, she’d done it more than two times. Sarai’s a well-known publicist in the business. People get on waiting lists to have her represent them.

“I’m sorry, Sarai. How about I buy you a new Gucci belt?”

“Make it a belt and purse, and I might think about not dropping you,” she said and hung up.

I looked at the phone and chuckled.

Ring! I heard the doorbell and grabbed the robe nearest to me and answered.

“Hello, sir! I came to clean, but I can come back later, if you want,” the housekeeper said.

“No, you’re good. Come inside,” I replied and stepped back.

“I saw the young lady put the ‘Do not Disturb’ on the door and wanted to make sure before entering,” she said.

“Did she say anything when she left?” I questioned.

“No, she was talking on the phone at the time,” she answered.

“Thanks. I’ll be out of your way in a few minutes.”

“No problem, take your time.”

Present Day

I woke up from the dream of the morning after my night with Arianna. I heard screaming and yelling from the boys cheering each other on at the game. I was playing video games with them for a little while and must have fallen asleep after eating the pizza.

“Kash, when can we come to the track with you?” Shane asked.

I ruffled his hair and stretched.

“Ask Rylee to set it up, and you can come whenever you’re done with school. You know that’s the most important thing,” I said.

He nodded and ate another slice of pizza. Jumping up, I grabbed my jacket and helmet to head out when the door opened, and Rylee walked in with Arianna.

“Speak of the devil,” Rylee said.

“Who, me?” I asked, pointing at myself.

“When did you get here?” Rylee questioned.
