“After I left the track. Arianna,” I said.

“Hi, Kamden,” Arianna replied.

“Did you order pizza for the boys?” Rylee asked.

“Yeah, Jackson said it was okay. I ordered enough boxes if you’re hungry,” I replied, still staring at Arianna.

Rylee looked from Arianna to me and shook her head.

“Shane, come help me grab the groceries out of the car,” Rylee stated, leaving me and Arianna alone.

“How was practice today?” I asked.

“Good,” Arianna replied.

“Cool, you’re ready to get your ass spanked,” I joked.

“I only like it spanked in the bedroom,” Arianna teased, winking at me and walking out of the house. I followed behind, not liking her answer.

“Where are you going?” I asked.

I waited for Rylee and Shane to walk inside the house. I finally noticed what she was wearing—tight black leather pants, a leather jacket, and short crop top, showing off her navel.

“Out with friends,” Arianna said.

“What friends?” I asked and stepped in front of her, pushing her gently back against the car.

“Friends, Kamden. I didn’t know I needed to run them by you.” Arianna blinked, planting her hands on her hips, causing her shirt to rise. I caressed her cheek, leaning in closer.

“Cancel and hang out with me.”

“Nope.”

“Why not?” I asked.

“That defeats the purpose of the bet. Unless you’re forfeiting and going to give me a check for the charity,” Arianna insisted.

“It’s not a date, just two people hanging out.”

She looked over at the house and back at me.

“I don’t bite, well, unless we’re in the bedroom.”

“Funny.”

“What do you have to lose? Hanging out with your girlfriends, listening to them complain about their boyfriends, or you can hang with me,” I stated.

“That’s not encouraging reason for me to go with you.” Arianna pulled her keys out of her purse.

“I’ll drive your car and leave my bike here if you’d feel more comfortable.”

He grabbed my keys out of my hands and opened the passenger door. I wanted to say something, but I liked this laidback side of him.

“This an official date?” I slid the seatbelt on, getting comfortable in my seat.
