“Sorry, Justine. I need to make sure my man isn’t being taken advantage of with these groupies,” Brittney said.
“Groupie!” I cackled in my seat.
“Brittney, take a seat, please. Arianna, hush and turn back around,” Justine said as she pulled the cape from around me.
“Okay, you’re all set, Arianna,” Justine told me.
“Thanks, Justine. Don’t forget the charity event is coming up this month. I’ll have an invitation sent over,” I said.
“Thanks, and try to not get in any more fights, please,” Justine implored.
“I promise,” I answered.
Amusement gleamed in my eyes as I walked past while they whispered to each other. I paid the receptionist and left the salon to head home for the day.

Flashback Vegas
The loud bass of Drake played through the speakers as the women danced in front of him while security stood around the VIP section. Once work finished, I flew out to the Venetian to the grand opening of the club and had bottle service ready for me. My usual VIP suite was set up for me, Rylee, and Essence, with Cîroc, champagne, vodka, and food. We had sliders and fries to consume up the alcohol I had ordered. Essence danced in her seat while she sipped on the champagne.
My favorite song came on as I stood to dance next to Essence. I glanced around the club and noticed the crowd getting hyped from the latest single from Meghan Stallion. Out of the corner of my eye, a familiar person stepped up to the sanctioned rope of my section. He whispered to the security guard, and I continued playing it off, waiting to see what he did. He wore a black shirt with the first few buttons open, black pants, and a leather jacket. I turned to listen to Essence talking to me.
“What did you say?” I asked.
“Is that who I think it is?” Essence motioned to Kash.
I smiled, winking at her while looking over my shoulder at Rylee hugging Kash and laughing. I knew with him being a driver for Colton, she knew him. With me at the office part time, I never saw him up close unless an event was happening.
“Yeah.”
“Arianna, I want you to meet someone,” Rylee called out.
Angling toward them, I smiled and held my hand out for him to shake. Much to my surprise, he pulled me up against him, staring into my eyes.
“Someone’s a little overzealous,” I spoke, peering up at the smile on his face. He bit his bottom lip, wrapping his hand around my waist.
“I go after what I want,” Kash commented.
“What is it that you want?” I questioned, stepping out of his hold.
“You.”
“Too bad, your girlfriends don’t think it’s a good idea.”
“I’m a single man, sweetheart.”
I grinned and asked, “Single, huh?”
“Very much so,” Kash said before he gripped my palm, holding it up to his lips for a kiss.
“I like your style.”
“I can say the same to you. How about you hang with my team, or we can be alone to celebrate my win?” Kash asked, the fixed intensity of his laser stare giving me shivers. I looked over his shoulder at the groupies making out with his friends and decided to take matters into my own hands.
“How about we make it a duo evening?”
