“Well, if that’s the case, then you should see me when I’m actually hungry. I was more worried about you two eating me out of the entire kitchen. This way I can eat you out of your kitchen in return.”

His chuckle sent my stomach flipping. He pushed off from the counter and closed in on me, bracing his palms against the closed pantry door on either side of my head as he leaned in. The low rumble of his voice sent a shiver through my spine, and I fought the urge to brush off his strand of hair that was tickling my cheek. “You can have whatever you want.”

“What if I want you?” I whispered, before grabbing his cotton shirt in both my hands and pulling him toward me until he crashed into my lips.

He grabbed my ass and squeezed the cheeks as he lifted me up. Helping him, I hopped up and wrapped my legs around his waist. His moan vibrated my lips, and I squeezed my thighs around him, keeping him as close to me as possible.

I’d waited since the snorkeling date to be able to maul him with my body, and I was done waiting. I was ready to claim this kitchen as my own and fill it with our scents of arousal.

My heart pounded with how gentle his kisses started out as before he pressed into me with more ferocity. I felt a slight pressure against my core as his arousal grew, throwing coal into my already burning flames.

He swallowed my gasp, and I melted against the door, sticking to it like honey while he devoured me.

Before I could move my hands down to his belt buckle and say fuck it all to hell because waiting was for pussies, something vibrated in his pants beneath my thigh. In response, I pressed my hips farther into him with an aching moan.

“Sorry,” he breathed, as he released my mouth from his. “Sorry. Damn phone.” He reached into his pocket and pulled out the small device that I was doing my best not to grab and chuck across the room. “It’s Chase.”

I leaned my head back against the door, rolling my eyes. “Someone has to let him know he really needs to work on his timing.”

“Yeah, Lee says you need to have better timing.”

I swatted Larsen’s chest as I gasped a chuckle. “Not like that.”

“Yeah. Yeah. We got some. Alright, see you in a few.” He hung up the phone and slid it back into his pocket. I opened my mouth to tell him that wasn’t the greatest spot for it, but he kissed me and then let my feet fall back to the floor.

“He’s ready and is about to head to your place. I told him we were on our way.”

“Fine, but don’t forget we still have something to finish. And I intend to finish.” I smirked as I squeezed his ass before reaching out to grab an armful of snacks. “Or just be like me and realize your life is better off without a phone.”

His eyes narrowed. “What happened to your phone?”

“Oh, I chucked it. Against the wall. It broke into pieces.” His eyes widened, but I rushed to assure him, “It’s fine, it was on the ex’s plan anyway. I have a job now, so I can afford my own, which I’ll probably need to get sometime soon. The only people who really called me on there were those I didn’t want to talk to all that much anyway. It’s more freeing this way. Oh, by the way, I’ll need to use your phone to order the pizzas.”

I placed the two movies between my lips, secured the snack stash in my arms, and waited at the door with a look on my face telling him to hurry the hell up.

He chuckled as he grabbed some sodas and opened the door for me. “I guess it’s time to start movie night.”
