“Guys, Dad’s going to be here soon,” Nick says from the walk. “I don’t think he’ll be happy to see you here.”

Mav pulls me tighter into his arms, and I feel him hardening beneath me. “I’m not that drunk, baby. A bit high, but I’m happy. I know what I said, and I meant it.” He kisses me on the cheek. “Now, you need to get off me because you’re making me hard as hell, and I need to jack off before I go to bed,” he says as he slides me to the ground, but not before I get a full feel of how big he is.

Nick smacks his forehead in disbelief, while Dom just loses it and laughs as Mav adjusts himself.

I can’t believe this is my life now. It’s crazy, but I wouldn’t want it any other way.

Walking over to stand in front of Dom, I grab his face in between my hands. “You have no idea how much this means to me. Thank you.” Staring into his eyes, I pull him down and kiss him.

He takes a second before he pulls me against his chest and kisses me intensely.

“Hey, what about me?” Mav pouts as I separate from Dom. “I’m the one who came up with the idea. It’s not fair that he gets the kiss.”

I smirk. “Well, I didn’t want to make you any harder.”

“I’ll gladly deal with it to have your lips on mine.” He pulls me to him and kisses me, putting every feeling he has into it.

He leaves me breathless.

I run my hand down his chest. “Damn Mav, you might not be the only one taking care of yourself tonight.”

He throws his head back, laughs, then leans down to my ear. “I’ll be glad to sneak into your room. That way, we can help each other in that department.” He wags his eyebrows.

I pat his chest. “Maybe another time.”

“I’m holding you to that. See you at noon.” He looks at his brother. “Let’s go, Chauffeur, I have a Biggy to take care of.”

Dom shakes his head. “Goodnight, Shelby. We’ll see you tomorrow.”

As Nick and I return to the house, I tell him about our plan to free Cin and ask, “Are you going to come with us?”

“There’s no way I want to be home.”

“Yeah, I wouldn’t, either,” I agree. “I’d love for you to come. I don’t want this to go sideways by missing something.”

“I’ll be ready to go, then.”

I pause outside my room and look toward Hannah’s. “Try to get some sleep, if you can.”

“We’ll see,” he says grimly. “Night.”

“Night.”

Noon comes way too soon.

When I shuffle into the kitchen in desperate need of coffee, I find Mom sitting at the counter. She stares at her cup of coffee, looking weary.

I go to get a mug. “Rough night?”

“A little,” she sighs. “We couldn’t leave her alone. It brought back a lot of memories.”

Shit, I didn’t consider that. She seems so much stronger now, so I didn’t think about what seeing Hannah like that might do to her.

“Are you all right? I have plans today, but I’ll stay if you need me to?” I tell her as I pour a cup of coffee.

“No, sweetheart, it just made me see how much you did for me when you should have been out there being a child.” A sad look crosses her face. “That’s just something I can never give back to you.”
