She gave me a small smile and a nod of confirmation. Placing my hand on the small of her back, I guided her out of the room and out of the building to where Nico was waiting with my car.

Chapter Eleven

GABRIELLA-ROSE

I WAS SO GRATEFUL that I knew the person who had purchased me for the weekend. Realizing that it was the one man I had dreamed about for the past couple of years just made me even more ecstatic. I was pleased that it hadn’t been Mikhail who purchased me, as I knew that Hudson would treat me like a lady, and not just someone he could use and abuse the whole weekend. Although I had never been in a scene with him, just the way he had spoken to me when we met and the way he was treating me now, told me everything I needed to know.

I couldn’t help but react to every touch of his hand on my body. When I had asked him to zip up my dress, I hadn’t expected him to run his fingers down my back in such a seductive way. I could feel the goosebumps across my skin as he followed my dress down to zip it up. My body was reacting to him with every touch, and I could feel myself getting wetter every moment.

When I turned around and met his eyes again, I couldn’t help but look down at his lips, the ones I was so desperate to taste and have all over my body. I knew, though, that as a perfect sub, I couldn’t make a move until I was given permission. But I could hope that my interaction with him would give him enough to make the first move. To my despair, he didn’t.

As we walked out of the room I could feel the heat from his hand seeping into my body. It brought a calm across me that I always wanted to feel. He was the man I wanted to spend the rest of my life with, but would he consider the proposal I had for him? Would he help me escape my life with Vincent? Only time would tell.

We walked out of the club without seeing anyone. I was pleased about this, as I was frightened that Mikhail might see me, and if he did, then I was sure that he would tell Vincent exactly who I was with. I had heard Hudson ask Vincent on several occasions to spend an evening with me, but Vincent had never allowed it. I was never sure why. After all, I was sure Hudson would pay a considerable amount of money, which Vincent needed. I mean, he had paid three million dollars to spend the weekend with me. Perhaps Vincent saw Hudson as a threat, which indeed he was. Given the chance again and the hindsight, I would have waited for Hudson to return instead of allowing Vincent to walk away with me.

As we walked across the parking lot, I saw the figure of a man standing next to a car. I assumed this was Hudson’s driver, although he looked more like a bodyguard from his build. As we got closer, I looked at the man that was standing there. He was just as handsome as Hudson and had striking facial features. I could feel myself starting to melt just at the sight of him. As we got to the car, the driver stepped forward to take my bag from Hudson, who, like a gentleman, had carried it all the way from the room in the club.

“Thank you, Nico. May I introduce Miss Gabriella-Rose Quinn to you? Gaby, this is Nico, my best friend, security chief, and driver for the evening.”

I saw a smile come over Nico’s face as we were introduced. He held out his hand to shake mine and I placed mine in his. Before I knew it, he lifted it to his lips and kissed my hand tenderly before speaking.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Miss Quinn.”

I could feel myself melting at the sound of his voice. He was obviously Italian in origin, although probably born here in the States, as his accent was only slight. But it was still there enough to have any woman’s panties falling off them at his first word.

I was starting to think about what it would be like to have both Hudson and Nico in bed with me. I knew I shouldn’t, but it was a fantasy that was very quickly manifesting itself into my brain. I was quickly brought from my thoughts when I heard a slight cough behind me from Hudson.

“Sorry, lost in thought for a moment. It’s lovely to meet you too, Nico.”

I noticed a smirk went across Nico’s face as he looked toward Hudson, who was behind me. It was Hudson who spoke next.

“Nico, you know you shouldn’t keep a lady waiting.”

I could tell that Nico was desperately trying to hold back a laugh as he walked to the back door and opened it for me to get in. Hudson helped me into the car and shut the door behind me as I placed the seatbelt across me. I watched as he spoke to Nico before walking around and getting into the car next to me.

“I apologize for Nico. He forgets his manners sometimes.”

I watched as Nico got into the car and glanced in the rearview mirror at Hudson. I knew that Hudson had introduced him as his best friend, but there was something strange about their relationship that I couldn’t place my finger on. The way they spoke to each other was more than just friendly.

“That’s fine. I’m sure he can be a gentleman most of the time.”

That was the final straw for Nico, as he started to laugh as he was pulling out of the parking lot.

“I’m sorry, Hud. But Rosa is right. Even you have to admit that.”

I raised my eyebrows at hearing Nico call me Rosa. I did speak Italian quite well and knew that he was referring to Rose in my name. Calling Hudson “Hud” also confirmed my feelings that there was more to their relationship than they were letting on. It was more like a brotherly relationship than that of best friends. I felt Hudson take my hand in his as he replied.

“Gaby may well be right, but you should remember your role at the time and not be influenced by other parts of your anatomy than your brain.”

It was my turn to try to hold back the giggles. Unfortunately, I wasn’t as successful as Nico had been, and I started to laugh, causing both Hudson and Nico to look at me. I brought myself and my giggles under control before speaking to them both.

“Are you two sure you’re not brothers? You are either brothers or an old married couple, the way you are carrying on.”

I saw a strange look come over Nico’s face as he looked toward Hudson in the rearview mirror. I looked over at Hudson, who just shrugged his shoulders before he spoke.

“I guess we have just been around each other for so long now that we know what the other thinks.”

I smiled and nodded, but deep down, I felt there was another reason. One I hoped that I would find out about soon. I hadn’t realized how far we had gone when I looked out of the window and saw that we were turning into a long driveway with a huge house. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I looked at it. However, we drove past the house and headed further into the grounds toward a smaller house at the back. I looked over at Hudson, confused.
