“He doesn’t want to be professional with you. Not at all.” He stands up and comes around the desk. “None of usdo.”

“But we’re working together. We have to try atleast.”

He shrugs. “You’re not wrong. But we’re weak men, you know. We can’t control what wewant.”

“Try.” I turn to the door. “Send me the details of what youneed.”

“I need your ass in my lap,” he says, and I turn back toward him. He smiles innocently at me. “But I’ll settle for your cooperation on thisproject.”

“Thanks,” I say sarcastically and leave his office. I smile at Melissa on the way out and head back to mycube.

My mind’s ringing with this revelation. I work for Hunter and Will, two of the guys I kissed at that club. They saw me at my strangest, and they probably have the craziest ideas about me. I’m not that outgoing party girl type, not at all. That girl those nights, that was only partially me. Normally I’m reserved, straitlaced, a hard worker. I only did that to try and make some money for my studentloans.

But I liked that person. I liked that version of myself, hanging out with those handsome, rich billionaires, flirting with them, kissing them, letting them tease me and teasing them in return. It was fun, really fun, and I think they liked ittoo.

But I have to work with them now. So I need to try and set some boundaries. I can’t just go around making out with them all the time, or else things are going to get messy. Plus, I have this Dustin person to worry aboutnow.

I don’t know how the hell I’m going to get through this. But I better start figuring it out, andfast.

Jordan

Ican’t believehow fucking excited I feel, like a giddy goddamn kidagain.

It’s stupid, I know. She’s just one girl. And we all want her, probably equally, which is weird as hell. I’m not really sure how to rectify that in my head, so I’m just ignoring it fornow.

Tori smiles at me as I walk out to meet her. She’s wearing a tight black skirt and a light blouse with a black jacket overtop it. She looks incredibly professional, especially compared to the last outfit I saw her in. But that beauty, that strange composure, it’s still there. She’s stillTori.

“Hi, Jordan,” she says,smiling.

“Hi there, stranger.” We shake hands and I grin at her, letting the shake linger. “It’s good to see you outside of thatroom.”

“It’s good to see you, too.” She looks around as we release our hands. “So this is yourplace?”

“This is it. What do youthink?”

She shrugs a little, a cheeky smile on her face. “It’sokay.”

I laugh and turn back toward my building. I have a place on the edge of the city, right next to the water. It’s all glass and smooth edges, a really modern spot. It cost a fuckload of money, but it was worthit.

“Come on,” I say, and we headinside.

I give her a quick tour. I show her the design team, the internet and social media team, the visual team, and finally we end up back in myoffice.

Tori smiles at me, sitting down in front of my desk. “Okay, I have toask.”

“What’s that?” I sit down and lean towardher.

“Why am Ihere?”

I smirk at her. “Why do youthink?”

“I mean, you have a whole team of qualified people. So whyme?”

“Will sent you. We’re dong a joint venture here with this Dustin kid, so it’d be good if you saw it from our end, too.”

“I see.” She shakes her head a little. “This is so weird. It’s weird, right?”
