“I live in that direction,” she pointed towards the opposite side of where I lived, “I’m okay taking the bus.”
“Nonsense. It would be my pleasure to take you home. I would hate for a woman to be out this late on public transportation. It’s a dangerous world out here Emma," I dropped my voice an octave.
I was the danger in this world.
That seemed to convince her, her facial expression changed as she nodded, “I guess it couldn’t hurt. For safety reasons.”
“That’s a good girl.”
Her cheeks flushed at my praise. I placed my hand on the small of her back and guided her to the faculty parking garage where my BMW was parked. The black vehicle with the dark windows came into view. I led her to it, opened the door for her ensuring she was in before climbing in myself.
The hum of the vehicle was all that could be heard. Emma huddled herself in the farthest corner of the passenger seat. She turned to me with a confused look on her face, “What are we waiting on?”
I chuckled at her question, “For you to give me directions of course. I don’t know where you live.” I lied.
Her pale skin was painted bright red, “Oh yeah, oh God, of course. It’s not like you’ve followed me home,” she laughed showing she was embarrassed, “If you pull out of here you will take three lefts and a right. Easy enough.”
She was so perfect for me.
And I would have her.

EMMA
The car ride was silent. I was attracted to him, that fact my body made clear. His perfect smile and beautiful eyes glanced over at me occasionally to make sure he was headed in the right direction. I bashfully responded to him each time, clutching my bag in the passenger seat.
“You have the most intense blush,” he said, chuckling as he pulled to the curb outside of my building. “You don’t need to be so shy with me, Emma.”
His voice rolled over me in waves. He turned to face me in the driver's seat. His eyes were bright under the streetlamp. His full lips were the perfect fit for his chiseled face. He was clean-shaven and smelled like the ocean.
I wanted to drown in him.
My thighs clenched together, wetness hitting me like a flash flood.
“Sorry, I guess I’m just a nervous person,” I stumbled over my words as I reached out to open the door to the expensive car. “I should get going. It’s getting late. Thank you, Dr. Lowe.”
“Hey,” his voice was just above a whisper. His gentle touch caressed my cheek, “we will be spending quite some time together, so no need to be shy around me.” My hand shook on the door handle, “And call me Chase.”
“Chase,” I said, loving how the name tasted. “You’re probably right,” I laughed, popping the door open, stepping one leg out, “I’ll be less awkward by the end of the week.”
He smiled at me and nodded as I shut the door. I made my way to the entrance, turning one last time to see him waving as I got in safely. Nodding at some of the other tenants, I hurried to my apartment, eager for a bath.
I tossed my things on my loveseat and quickly stripped in the bathroom, making sure to get my little waterproof friend out of my bedside drawer. Turning the water up as hot as it would go, I poured salts and bubble bath in and waited eagerly for the tub to fill. I was wrung tightly and needed release.
Just the tiny interactions with Dr. Lowe, Chase, had me wound up. I couldn't imagine spending the next few weeks with him. I was going to go insane, I thought, dipping a toe into the scalding water.
Wetness dripped down my inner thighs in thick globs. I sank my entire body under the suds and got to work on the much-needed release. With one leg hooked over the side of the tub and the other bent with my knee to my chest, I ducked the rose-shaped toy under the water to my clit. It sucked on me sweetly wringing several quick bursts of pleasure out of me. I could feel myself getting wetter, even submerged in water. No sooner than I had started, I was coming in hot gasps. My legs went to jello, my body glowing with a sheen of sweat.
Chase’s name on my lips.
Needing to pull myself together, I finished my bath and dried off. As I made a TV dinner and picked at it, my mind was occupied with thoughts of Dr. Lowe. It was nearing eleven p.m. so I tossed my unfinished food and called Anna.
“Oh my God!” she hissed into the speaker, “you have to hook up with him. And then you have to tell me all about it!” She was in hysterics.
I laughed tucking my legs under the covers in bed, “I only told you because you’re my best friend. Don’t make it weird around the office.”
“I promise not to. But you haven't been with a guy since your ex, and Chase is much more of a hunk than Nate ever could be.”
