Her eyes heat at my response, and she nods, taking in our bodies together, before lifting up to guide my length to her entrance.

“Wait,” I hiss just as she pushes herself onto me. She stops for a moment to hear me out, and I sigh. “What about a condom? I’ve got one on the nightstand that we can use.”

She shakes her head. “I’m on birth control. I don’t want anything between us right now, Brent.”

“Okay,” I choke out, my veins boiling as she sinks the rest of the way onto me. This is the stupidest move I’ve ever made, yet I’m doing anything to stop her. I can’t, not when she’s flipping her hair over and letting it fall down her back while she angles her face toward the ceiling. “Shit,” I groan, bringing a free hand up to run it along her chest and over her breasts. “You’re so goddamn mesmerizing, you know that?”

Her moan is loud as she rocks her hips into me, taking me deeper, and I tense at the feel of her walls clenching around me.

Everything will be okay. This is just like every other person I’ve been with before.

Except it’s not. No one else was ever able to make my skin tingle in a way that makes me feel like I’m alive and electricity is being shot through my veins nonstop. I’ve never felt this uncontrollable desire to bring my head forward and swirl my tongue around a woman’s nipples in the way I’m doing with Julia.

Everything is much more intense with her – the rapid beat of my heart, how tight my muscles are from the pleasure coursing through me, and everything in between. The nerves in my body are vibrating with desire, eager for everything Julia has to give me, and it’s another rock of her hips that makes all those feelings and emotions increase. My body is a blazing inferno, and the only thing that could tame the flames is the woman currently riding me like it’s her life’s mission.

“Oh God, Brent,” she moans breathlessly, her head coming back down as she leans forward and presses her forehead against mine. “It feels so good.”

I place my hands onto her hips, gripping them tight enough that she won’t be able to move, and thrust my hips into her wildly. Her breaths come out in pants, the sweat between our bodies gives enough lubricant for me to move easier, and it’s got the tingles in my spine going haywire. “I need you to come for me, Julia. Can you do that?”

She shakes from my words and nods frantically, letting me slam myself into her until there’s nothing left to give. “Yes.” Her moan is long, ragged breaths visible within it, and I’m drowning in the sound.

I’m drowning in her.

“Brent!” Her body moves erratically on its own, and I let it as she coaxes the release out of her. It only takes a few moments of watching her mouth drop open in pleasure for my own release to follow hers, and then she’s sagging against me breathlessly.

For some reason, I wish the moment would do as it did before and come to a crashing halt. Instead, I wait until she rolls off me and onto her back before I drape an arm over her waist to pull her into me. I don’t want her to leave the room this time, no matter how smart it might be, and that makes me wonder how much more screwed I’m going to be at the end of this.

My feelings are much more prominent than they were the night before and it’s all because I got a taste of what she’s really like.

This is what I’ve been missing, but is it too good to be true?

Julia

When I wake up at first, I smile against the mattress beneath me because I feel as though I’ve been brought back from the dead. Until the arm draped over me twitches and I remember whose bed I’m currently residing in, and that makes me jump away from his touch. I quickly grab the sheet that’s laying on the floor in a puddle, wrap it around my naked frame, and stare at Brent’s sleeping form in front of me.

I take in the tattoos along his torso, along with the ones that travel from his arms to the top of his back, and my pussy clenches in response. There’s something insanely sexy about the ink that covers his skin. As quickly as possible, I head into the bathroom and take a look at myself in the mirror. My hair is sticking up all over the place, and I can imagine Mallory right now making a comment about my just-fucked look.

She would go insane knowing I had sex, but that’s something I need to keep to myself.

Speaking of Mallory. I walk toward the bedroom, hoping to grab my phone to see if Mallory sent me any messages, and Brent’s raspy voice echoes through the room. “Mack, I’ve got everything under control. How did you even find out about anything anyway?” Brent curses softly and I peak around the corner, catching his hand running down the back of his neck, before he says, “Her name is Julia,” he mumbles. “She’s my sister’s best friend. I’ve known her for years.”

What could they possibly be saying about me?

I think Mack is Brent’s manager, but it’s been so long since his career started that I space on most names any more.

If I’m correct, Mack is the one who approached Brent after a talent show competition that was held in his hometown–if what Mallory told me is the truth–and offered him a way to make his dreams a reality. According to Mallory, it had been Brent’s entire life to get into music and make something of himself before high school was over and that’s exactly what he got. I know at first he was a solo act, before he met Ryker and Evan, then he created his very first band.

I’ve always been proud of him.

When Brent drops his phone onto the bed beside him and stands bare in front of the large suite window, I clear my throat and step out into the room. He turns to me with a small smile, clearly not shy about himself, and says, “I thought you left.” I shake my head, cheeks already flaring up, and he takes a few steps toward me. “How about we go do something today? I hear there’s a great nature exploration here in St. Croix. I think you’d enjoy it, and it would be a great time for a lesson.”

“What kind of exploration?” I ask.

I’m intrigued and very much want to spend as much time as possible with Brent on my own. While he thinks about his answer, I grab my phone from the nightstand and see a few messages from Mallory with apologies laced throughout. I quickly let her know I’m okay, then click the lock button and give Brent all my attention.

There’s only one person who hasn’t made fun of me this whole time and it’s the man in front of me. I’m not going to be rude and ignore his invitation for today.
