“You’d better get something soon or I won’t be held responsible for my actions.” I want to launch myself across the room at him, but I know he’s our best shot at finding her.

Brax is good at what he does, but Meg is the hacker and she helped with finding Rosie when she was taken. I know that if it was someone else Meg would be working hard to find them. Brax can only take it so far.

We walk into church and some of our brothers are already there. We take our designated seats, with Braxton, who is VP, and Shadow, who is the enforcer, on either side of Razor, our Prez.

When all the brothers have come inside, Pops closes the door and takes the last seat around the table.

Razor bangs the table to get us all to shut up.

“We need an update on Meg. Do we know where she is yet?”

“No, Prez.” Brax shuffles in his seat.

“Fuck. What are we doing to find her?”

“I’ve checked cameras, I’ve checked DMVC.”

“What about credit cards or money? Have we investigated Ricky’s bank accounts to see if we can trace him. If he’s taking cash out, then we should be able to know about.”

Brax shakes his head. “Unless he has a secret account, he hasn’t touched his bank accounts in months. Then again, he did take out a lump sum before that. Maybe he’s cleverer than we thought, and he knows what he is doing.”

“Right, we need to switch gears. Does anyone know any of Meg’s friends who do the hacking like she does? Brax, man, no offense, but I think we need to go deeper with our searches.” Razor looks at Brax, he doesn’t want to offend him.

“None taken.” Brax holds up his hands. “I admit defeat in this one. But when we get her back, she needs to show me how she does that shit or she needs to be on payroll.”

“Agreed.” Razor looks around the table. “Right, next order of business. What are we going to do about the Black Stallions? They have been encroaching on our business and they need a reminder who owns this town.”

“Yes.” We all agree.

“Cash, Ramsey, I know you are trying to find Meg, but I need you to look into her friends. Speak to Rosie and find out who else can break into computers and stuff. Then I want you to go and find them and bring them in. We need them to help us out – whatever it takes.”

“Consider it done.”

“Knuckles, Shadow, Pops, I want you to find out what you can about where the Black Stallions are, where their base is and what they’ve been sticking their noses in around here.”

“Done.” Pops nods his head.

Razor bangs the table. “Church dismissed.”

We all file out of Church and walk through the bar and out to our bikes. Razor is behind us. “Rosie is at home; she’s not working today. She is expecting both of you. She’s devastated about Meg, so treat her gently. She’ll have the information you need.”

“Thanks, Razor.” Ramsey gets on his bike and nods at me to do the same. “Let’s roll.” He starts his bike and I start mine, following him as he leaves the compound.

It doesn’t take us long to get to Razor’s place. Rosie is waiting for us at the door, so Razor must have called her to let her know we were on the way. She smiles at us.

We climb off our bikes and walk towards her. “Hey Rosie.” I smile at her. She’s come in and changed Prez for the better and we all love her.

“Hey, guys. Come in. Do you want a beer?”

We both nod and she comes out with two bottles, one for each of us. “Now I know what you want so I have been through everything and everyone I know that might be able to help us get Meg back.”

“What do you have?” Ramsey takes a pull of his beer before smiling at her.

“So, there this one girl. I’ve only met her a couple of times. She’s a bit of a computer geek. You know the type; she has a basement set up with monitors everywhere and she doesn’t go out. I only know her as Ghost. I’m not sure that can help you. You should have Meg’s phone though and I’m sure her number is on it.”

“Thanks, Rosie. How are you holding up, girl?” I feel bad for her, she came into the MC life with a bang. On her first time in the clubhouse, there was a stabbing, a shooting and she was kidnapped the next day. Not really a great introduction, but her love for Razor kept her with us.

“I miss her.” She looks down at her hands. “I’m so used to texting and talking to her multiple times a day and it sucks so bad, not being able to do that. I know what that bastard did to her the last time she was with him. II don’t even know if she’s still alive.”
