“We have rules here at this clubhouse,” Blow remarks nonchalantly. “We have them for a reason. You two violated those rules last night. I will not ask you to explain yourselves. I’m not putting up with shit in this clubhouse anymore.”
“We haven’t done anything,” Tessa sneers, crosses her arms, pushing her tits up and nearly out of the top of her tank top.
“So, you’re telling me that putting your hands on my woman isn’t doing anything?” I demand, furrowing my brow. “Or better yet, telling her how to leave the clubhouse without being caught?” I drop my hands to the table, come out of my seat, and brace against the table to lean toward the bitches standing behind Scorn’s and Surge’s seats. “Actually, how about explaining to all of us how the fuck you knew about a break in the fence and didn’t tell anyone about it.” I’m barely able to keep my anger in check.
A soft knock comes at the door, and Blow nods to Flash to open it. I suck in a breath at the sight of Olive standing in the doorway, face pale and her fingers fidgeting with her phone in front of her. She’s still in nothing more than my shirt. Her hair is on top of her head, and she looks of pure innocence.
“Olly, what are you doing?” I ask, rounding the table to get to her. “We’re in the middle of church.”
“I’m sorry,” she utters. “I . . . I heard screaming, and it woke me up. I didn’t know where you were and . . .” No one in the room can miss the uncertainty in her voice.”
Pulling her in my arms, I hug her and kiss the top of her head. “Go back to the room, honey. We’ll be done here soon, and then I’ll come find you.”
“Okay, but I wanted you to know I had a text from a number on my phone I didn’t recognize, though I know it’s from Sasha,” she says, holding her phone out to me.
Ignoring everyone else around us, I take the phone from Olive’s trembling hand and look at the screen to read the message there.
I hope it was good. Hope what he gave you was enough because it’s the last time you’ll have him. You know better, and I’ll ensure you pay. Tell him I’ll be seeing him soon.
Below the text is what has me seeing red. It’s a picture of Milo. Milo and Chelsea. I quickly glance at Lucky, knowing he’s about to lose his shit. After the bullshit Chelsea endured, this is the last thing she needs.
“What?” Lucky’s gaze is alert and watchful.
“Take a look at this,” I say and hand him the phone. “Pass it around.”
Lucky takes a look, and I’m surprised he keeps a lock on his shit as he passes the phone around.
Turning back to Olive, I pull her tighter against me for a moment. “I need you to go back to the room. Stay there until I come get you. As soon as we finish here, I’ll be right there. All right?”
“Okay,” she murmurs and does what I ask.
I close the door and move back to my place at the table. By the time I get in my seat, the tension is thicker than it was already. I need to keep my shit in check. If I don’t, my brothers will lock me down, and I know it. I can’t afford for them to do that. Not when my little boy is in the clutches of one sick bitch.
“How did she know what you did?” Torch asks.
“Can we go back to bed now? We’ve been up all night?” Tessa snaps, bringing the attention back to her.
“You can go pack your shit and be ready to go. You two are out of here,” Blow informs them.
“You’re kicking us out?” Rubi blurts her question out.
“No, you’re going to another club,” Nines answers and looks to Blow. “I’ll put a call into Calyx and see if he and his men will handle the transfer for us.”
“Think you should call Gavril instead,” Sniper suggests. “Calyx finds out what’s going on, and you know he will, he’ll demand to stay and help.”
“He’s got a point,” Keys grumbles.
“Call Gavril, Nines. Also, ask him to get them to answer the questions Shiner asked,” Blow orders and switches his attention to Flash and Switchblade. “Take them back to their rooms and stay on them for the time being. I don’t want them left alone.”
“You got it, Prez.” Flash gives a curt nod and grips Tessa’s arm roughly.
“You can’t do this,” Tessa snaps, attempting to fight.
The moment the door closes behind them, Lucky finally erupts. “How the fuck did this bitch get my woman and Milo?”
“In the text she tells Olive she hopes she enjoyed it, and that Shiner would be seeing her soon. That Olive would pay,” Keys says, eyes glued to his computer.
“Where would she take them?” Griz asks.
