“Meaning, you boys are going to have to go goth. Shouldn’t be that hard for you and Viper since you’re mostly in jeans, t shirts and leather vests all day anyways.” York snorted, shaking her head at Jacko.
“Just means, minus the leather vest with your patches on them, you’ll be in leather pants and a white dress shirt or something gothic looking. Meaning you three boys need to come up with an outfit that matches your chicks.” Showalter stated, trying to hide the smirk behind her cough at the looks of horror on the three men’s faces.
“Fuck, that means a shopping trip. I doubt there’s a store called ‘Leathers-R-Us’ around here.” Jacko grumbled, his head dropping down onto his arms that were crossed on the table at the women’s laughter.
“Amazon won’t be fast enough since we were planning on going in tonight. I guess we can go into the club tomorrow since it’s Saturday. Might be better for a shock factor.” Diesel said, leaning back into her chair, nibbling on her bottom lip.
“What are you thinking, doll face?” Pratt asked, looking over at Diesel.
“Today is Friday. Maybe sarge is right. We need to do a little more recon. Last night was a busy night, but like everyone says, this is L.A. and it’s a new club. We need the men in there with us as back up. Let the teams do their recons today and tonight and we can get the men fitted for what they will need. I happen to know a place you three can get fitted out for the club. You just can’t wear your patches. Showalter, check with your brother and see if ‘Goth Planet’ is still operational and safe to go into. We can do a day trip to Beverly Hills and get you boys situated.”
“Yeah, ‘Goth Planet’ is still up and running. I know that personally since I still get some of my outfits from there.” Showalter shrugged when the men stared at her.
“Alright, so you guys get the men suited up. Peaches, Taz and Phoenix, grab some shut eye and we’ll reach out to you tonight. Sgt. Brocard, you and your team be safe. Either of you need anything, and I do mean anything, your reach out immediately and let me know.” Captain Irby ordered the three teams.
A collective of ‘yes ma’am’ rang out amongst the three groups before everything clicked off the chat. The breakfast plates were taken to the sink to be rinsed off and placed into the dishwasher.
“Alright, everyone go get their showers and get dressed, let’s be ready to roll out in thirty minutes.” Showalter announced to the group as she broke off to her room.
Viper followed Diesel into their room and grabbed her by the waist as soon as he shut the door. “I think there’s a lot we can do in those thirty minutes.”
Diesel couldn’t help but laugh as she leaned her head to the side as Viper started kissing the spot where her neck and shoulders met, nipping and licking. “You got laid this morning before we went down to eat.”
“Your point is? Are you telling me no?” Viper asked, gently biting her neck as he growled at her statement.
“Fuck! No, I’m definitely not telling you no. Oh, God, don’t stop.”
Roughly forty-five minutes later, all seven were on the road heading to their destination. Only this time, there were four bikes heading out instead of the seven, something Viper and Diesel both found interesting.
TWENTY-EIGHT
Five hours after they left the safe house, the large group was now sitting down at a restaurant and ordering food. They had a day of laughter while getting the three men ready for what they had hoped would be a successful mission.
After ordering their lunches, they all kept their conversation going over the most mundane things. No one wanted to talk about the mission in case there were ears nearby that would recognize them if they went to the club.
“So, since no one else is going to ask, I’m going to.” Showalter quipped, looking over at York. “I noticed that stick got taken out of your ass this morning. That mean you two finally put us all out of our misery and fuck?”
“Fuck you!” York gripped. “No, we haven’t had sex nor are we sleeping together. He’s my partner for this and that’s it. Yes, if the need comes, we can make it look like we’re intimate.”
“Ok, now I’m going to have to ask, if you’re not fucking, then why are you riding bitch on the back of his bike. I can understand Diesel on the back of mine and Pratt on Highlander’s. But you rode with Jacko.” Viper asked, staring his best friend down.
“Saving the planet.” Jacko responded, shifting restlessly in his seat, not looking at anyone.
“Do we need to have the birds and bees’ conversation. You two fucking would save the planet too.” Pratt pointed out, before taking a drink of her water.
“Sorry but Jacko nor I are the type for one-night stands.” York commented, shifting in her seat, not staring at her friends.
“Since when?” The entire table asked at the same time.
“If you’re not attracted to each other just say it. If I need to, I can get Kermit out here or Houston.” Viper advised the two before squinting his eyes as he witnessed Jacko sneak a peek at York, who was blushing.
Diesel started a soft chuckle. “They are into each other but afraid to follow through with it. They are afraid this assignment is why they have that attraction and are fighting it instead of finding out if it could be the real deal.”
“Chickenshits!” Pratt and Showalter muttered at the same time Diesel did, causing the three women to laugh and touch their noses. Viper and Highlander just shook their heads at Jacko and the women’s silliness.
“I’m not going to fuck her because you two are pressuring us.” Jacko gritted out at the group.
“Dude! That’s not what we’re doing. We’re letting off steam because we’re all nervous as fuck. You two are our focal points. York used to give as good as she got in the past which tells us a lot.” Pratt answered, glaring at York before sticking her tongue out at her.
