“Alright, I’ll wait for the details and leave once I have a
plan.”
As I leave Pops’ study, I couldn’t shake off this feeling of
emptiness that had been gnawing at me lately. I wanted a
family like Marco’s - someone to come home to and love
unconditionally. My thoughts drift towards Sarah, Marco’s
46
wife. She is so beautiful with long golden hair that flows
down her back to the top of her ass and her eyes are so
blue; almost the color of the sky on a sunny day.
Glancing out the window to the back yard, I watch as
Marco’s son, Matteo, runs towards him, laughing as Marco
scoops him up into his arms. I couldn’t help but feel
envious - I have never experienced that kind of love and
happiness before.
Marco is now in charge of the family since Pops retired,
but I want out. I’m done with this life, but I know they will
never let me leave alive. I want to be able to have a wife
and kids without putting them in danger. I just can’t handle
it anymore. I want that white picket fence life.

2 Weeks Later…..
“Hey Vince! Are you good?” Marco asks.
I turn around and force a smile. “Yeah. Yeah I’m
good.”
“You look distracted, you sure?” Marco asks, concern
etched onto his face.
“Yeah, last night’s job took longer than expected so I
didn’t get much sleep,” I lie.
