“You said that I had changed you both. But Nick, Sir, you were never going to love again. And Dylan, Sir, you said you avoided commitment at all costs.Do you both still feel that way?I don’t know…I’m not sure…I need to know whereIstand in regard to your walls, Sirs.”

“Evidently, your little ploy only caused you more insecurities, kitten.”Dylan tsked.

I nodded as remorse seeped through me.

“When we told you we loved you, we meant with all our hearts.”Nick’s voice so soft and filled with adoration, I could barely look into his eyes.“Yes, you have changed us…changed everything we thought we wanted untilyoutouched our lives.Without knowing, or trying, you opened our eyes and our hearts and changed us for the better.”

Tears stung my eyes.Nick pressed a kiss so tender and reverent to my lips, my heart swelled as his love fused to my soul.A tiny whimper escaped my throat as he pulled away.

When I glanced up at Dylan. His expression was filled with pain.Fearing he wasn’t ready to slice himself open like Nick, I cupped his hand and sent him a soft, understanding smile.

“I don’t how to explain it, Savannah. All I know is the time we spent with you chased away the dark clouds that have been hanging over my head since I left Iraq. You’ve given me hope, kitten. That’s something I never thought I’d feel again.”

Tears slid down my cheeks as Dylan cupped my nape and pulled me in close to his lips.A gentle smile tugged his lips before he kissed me with the same love and passion Nick had.

A kiss so potent and claiming, all my fears and insecurities melted away.

Though blissfully ecstatic we had found each other and changed one another’s lives, that unknown something still squirmed in the back of my mind.

As Dylan lifted from my lips, I kept my eyes closed to try to pinpoint the crux of the uncomfortable sensation.

The diner.

My heart thundered as the ugly experience roared to life inside me.If I hadn’t been locked in Dylan and Nick’s strong arms, I would have bolted off the couch to escape the inky embarrassment pumping through my veins.

“What’s wrong?”Nick cupped my cheeks and held me in a stern, confused gaze.

“Nothing,” I lied, watching as Nick arched his brows in warning.“I mean…”Crap.I couldn’t keep pushing them away. The few hours I’d spent alone had been debilitating.“I’m sorry, Master.Something happened last night at dinner, in the ladies’ room.”

“What?”

“A woman came into the restroom shortly behind me.She was one of the women sitting—”

“We remember them.Go on,” Dylan insisted.

“She called us perverts and said we needed to leave or she was going to call the cops. She said I was a whore and that I was going to burn in hell.”

“What did you say to her?”Nick asked.

I nibbled my lip.I’d already earned a long session of edging for running away, but I feared telling them how I put the hateful cow in her place would only add more torture.Ignoring Nick’s question wasn’t an option. All I could do was hold out hope they’deventuallygive me permission to come.

When I finished repeating the nasty things I’d said to the woman, both men tossed their heads back and laughed.

“Our first date didn’t go very well, did it, kitten?”Dylan asked, still chuckling.

“We’ll make it up to you, Savannah,” Nick assured.“There’s a wonderful Italian place that welcomes not only our kink, but also the kinks of others. We’d like to take you there when we get to Chicago.”

“I’d love to.”I grinned.

“Good.”Nick smiled.“Then let’s get started.”

“Started with what?”

Dylan chuckled as he slid me onto Nick’s lap.“I’ll be right back.”

As he walked out the door, I peered up at Nick.“Where’s he going?”

“No more questions, little one,” Nick instructed.
