Murmured laughter rounds the group. Kai looks slightly disappointed, like he was expecting something juicier.
Interesting that Milo doesn’t count the months like I do.
“Okay, Milo, it’s your turn to pick someone else,” Tabitha says.
He glances around the group, and I dip my gaze to avoid being picked.
“Lewis,” Milo says, and my stomach drops. “Truth or dare.”
Lewis is quick to reply. “Dare.”
I look up, smiling at his confidence.
Milo grins. “Talk in a British accent until your next turn.”
Everyone erupts in laughter.
“What?” Lewis puffs. “I was expecting to hang off a tree limb or to steal something from the parents.”
Yvette nudges him. “Do it. British accents are sexy.”
“If I can do it,” Lewis says in a terrible attempt at an accent.
More laughter spills out of the group.
Tyler smirks. “Hey, Hugh Grant, pick someone.”
Lewis sighs, and then gets his British on. “Okay then, chaps. Uh, erhm, ladies too, that is.”
My eyes water and I hold my belly, laughing.
“Tyler, truth or dare?”
“Dare.”
In his phony British accent, Lewis says, “I dare you to smell and lick the bottom of Kai’s foot.”
A bunch of retches, grimaces, and complaints of, “Yuck,” “eww,” and “gross,” circle around the group.
“Why my foot?” Kai complains.
Lewis laughs. “Because, my good man, you’re always running around barefoot.”
Tabitha giggles. “They do stink, babe.”
Kai rolls his eyes and throws his foot up. “Get over here, Ty.”
Tyler is green. He slinks over to Kai, wincing as he lowers to his foot.
“Eww.” I wince and cover my face as soon as Tyler’s tongue pokes out.
Parker throws his head back and laughs. “That was so gross.”
Tyler shudders as he snakes around to the seat beside me.
“Umm, has anyone got sanitizer for my foot?” Kai asks.
“Your foot?” Tyler complains. “What about my tongue?”
