I face him again, resting my hands on his chest as he rests his head on the couch, my face just above his, watching as his mouthcreates the shape of an O, my hair falling around us. I grind my hips faster, our breathing accelerating together, as his eyebrows come together.

“Aries,” he breathes, and it does something to me, the way he says my name. “Come for me.” That’s all it takes. I come undone, my pussy clenching around him as he grips me tighter, his groans filling the room as his cock jerks inside me.

It’s close to dawn when I wake. I feel Aries’s arm over my chest, her leg over mine, and her head nuzzled in the crook of my neck. Her hair smells like strawberries and coconut. Slowly peeling away from her hold, careful not to wake her, I pick up my phone, walk out into the freshly renovated modern kitchen, and dial Nico’s number.

“Calling me on your honeymoon, just hours after getting married? Fuck, brother, you need to learn how to relax a little.”

“Shut the fuck up, tell me what’s happening with the intercept.”

“Seriously…would you not rather be fucking your wife right now?” He chuckles.

“Nicholas.”

“Alright, alright.” He sighs. “We’ve found their shipment heading into London in a couple of days or so. We plan on intercepting it with a few men.”

“We’ll be back before then; I need to be there.”

“It’ll go to plan; you don’t have to worry. Enjoy your honeymoon, brother.”

“Do we have a lead on the accountant?”

“Not yet, but the men who will be delivering the shipment will have some information, they’re a couple of Leo’s closest men.”

“They fucking better.” I clench my hand into a fist beside me. “I swear to everything that is holy, Nico, if they don’t pledge their loyalty, I will have their fucking heads.”

I hang up the phone and walk back into the bedroom. I’ve been preoccupied with this whole ruse ofsecuring the Casella linethat I’ve put revenge on the back burner, not being fully present with my men. I haven’t been away from a war or a fight in a long time, and it feels good for some positive thoughts to occupy my mind for a whilst, however long it might have lasted. This is too important to fuck up. I need to be there with my men when we intercept the Brayford shipment. We need to have some sort of insight into their kingdom, and our way in is through this accountant that they have.

Leo is smart, but his men aren’t very tight-lipped, and that’s what I’m counting on. If I’m honest with myself, Iwantthere to be bloodshed—it’s almost like I crave it, like I miss it.

My eyes find Aries, her body sprawled across the bed, the blanket covering only her ass as she lies on her front. I watch as her back rises and falls in shallow breaths, deep in her slumber, and I feel something inside me change. I started this night off thinking I would keep her out of convenience and entertainment, but when I look at her, my heart picks up speed, my palms begin to sweat, and my dick reacts almost immediately.

She’s never leaving me. I won’t let that happen.

No matter how much she begs.

Slipping in beside her, she nuzzles into me, almost like it was second nature.

“I thought I could let you go, sweetheart, but you’re stuck with me,” I whisper into her hair, and she murmurs nonsense. “Until each and every atom in my body dissipates into nothingness.”

My arms are wrapped around Aries, carrying her over the threshold of the front door of my Chelsea home. Some traditions I’m not opposed to. As long as I get to have my hands all over my wife, I’ll comply. She gasps as I place her on her feet, Henry bringing in the last of our luggage. My dick is almost raw from how much we fucked—basically on every surface of the house we honeymooned at, even outside in the garden, the sun beaming down on us. I loved watching her bare tits shimmer with sweat in the brightness as she came undone over and over again on my cock, the sight imprinted in my mind.

“Come with me. I want to show you something.” I grab her hand as we begin walking up the stairs, and she stops halfway up.

“Ezra, when did you…” she begins to say as I turn around and see her place her fingers on our wedding photo. It’s of us at the reception, our first dance.

“I’m glad you like it, but this, you will enjoy far more.” I pull her up the stairs, swirling her around as I ask her to cover her eyes and guide her slowly into the back upstairs room, which I had completely renovated just for her whilst we were away.

“Okay, open.”

She takes her hands off her eyes and is completely speechless at the sight of the room. This room used to be a storage space, but now, it’s a light, bright office. A large desk in the middle of the room with the latest computer sitting on top. A lush rugunderneath and a large bookcase running across the back wall. The room length window brings an abundance of light during the day, covered with sheer curtains.

“This is all for me?” she breathes, almost not believing me, walking farther into the room.

“All for you, baby,” I say, crossing my arms, leaning into the doorframe.

She lightly sweeps the oak desk with two fingers. “I don’t know what to say.”

“You don’t need to say anything.” I watch her, watching me. “But I can think of other ways you can thank me.” I smirk, thinking about all the things I’d like to do to her on that desk.
