American chef Callie McGinn has always known what she wants: her own restaurant in a big European city, at least one Michelin star, and her name on a 30 Under 30 list of influential women in the food industry. So when she gets the opportunity to open a restaurant at a five-star resort on an obscure Greek island, she doesn’t think twice about accepting it.

But once she arrives, her new life is off to a rocky start. Her house is an ancient ruin, her neighbors are goats, and her island nemesis–the handsome, broody local doctor–is determined to put her on the next ferry back to Athens.
